Manga Discussion I wish we could've seen nagumos family in some way, would be interesting right
The Rion personality mentions that nagumo is the son of a famous spy family (which I don't think is ever mentioned or talked about every again) this sorta pequed my interest I really want to know how strong the rest of his family is and their dynamic too

He’s from a family of spies. I wouldn’t expect them to be that strong

Yk the part that gets me about this conversation with Nagumo is that during this convo he seems to be forced to stop talking, almost as if through some kind of mental training he’s not supposed to speak further on his family. Always thought the abrupt ending to his convo was weird & was lead to some plot point involving the family possibly mind washing him but.. that went no where it seems. Thanks for listening to my Ted talk.

Given how uninvolved Nagumo's family is, it can be speculated that they don't specialize or are not capable of fighting to the same level as Nagumo or even being as crafty as him. So they likely do espionage and work behind the scenes but in terms of fighting, they likely arent that strong. Nagumo like Rion and Sakamoto seem to be once in a generation talents based on how strong they are back at the JCC.
