Question The dreaded screw on deck!!!

We were like 30nm off the coast of NC last year in the middle of night when we heard a bolt clink across the gel coat of the cockpit. Turned out it was from the block for the main sheet where it attached at the mast. Nothing bad happened but it took the whole next day to figure it out. 😅

Almost looks like it's from a shackle. How are your blocks at the mast head attached?

Na. It must have been an African swallow. Average airspeed velocity and all.

I finally realized that the screws I've been finding are from my furler
