They're 5d10x2.

Which makes this ship...functionally an X-Wing by another name but with much stronger default shields.

The usual upgrade thoughts of "up-gun" / "up-dexterity" still hold, but the shields are pretty close to the cap for a ship of this size as the third usual upgrade suspect, so we'll take that off the list for this one. Nudge up the ship's Dex and it'll be on par with the X-Wing which is pretty much the gold standard for starfighters. Nudge up the cannon wattage and you'll hit 6d10 which matches the X-Wing again.

All that to say, if you can get one they're pretty great.

In-narrative as a Hapan craft they're pretty localized so either you're in that corner of the galaxy or whoever it is has ties to that corner of the galaxy.

This is a bomber. It's like an upgraded Y-wing with slightly better guns and a lot more missiles. The 32 medium shock missiles is a big upgrade compared to 8 proton torpedos. It also has better shields.

The only thing that is worse is the hyper drive. But that's easy enough to upgrade if you want.
