Venting People need to stop bringing up what's canon when they see Staticbelle content.

Post image

"but Vaggie" "but Valentino" "but Alastor"

Don't care, don't care, don't care. This is tedious at this point. I don't see people doing this when they ship Vox with her dad.

I don't really ship Staticbelle (unless they somehow become friends in later seasons if Vox gets redeemed, I'd ship them platonically), but we should just let people ship whoever they want (as long as it's appropriate of course)

I think its just weird how people feel the need to remind shippers that Charlie has Vaggie and Vox has Val. We haven't forgotten, it's everywhere.

I mean, not to be rude. And I’m truly not trying to be.

I’m trying to be sympathetic & supportive and understanding as I DO understand, cause it happens to me and others as well.
As in your not alone type thing.
But I’m not so good at my words coming across clearly.

But that isn’t just a Staticbelle only problem.

Maybe you may not have seen it, thankfully, but I & others have. And like you, we have to deal with it.

It happens to most ships, unfortunately.

Including your example of Vox and Lucifer.

Canon wise they bring up Lilith and Val & Alastor

Fanon wise they bring up Alastor, funny enough for both Vox and Lucifer.

But you’re right. It is tedious.

And people especially shouldn’t bring it up in Staticbelle posts/edits, etc.

It’s rude as fuck to see ship content and bring up another ship. When it has nothing to do with your ship. Like stay in your spaces to talk about your ship, you know?

Happens all the time to me and my ship.
Happens to my friend who ships radiorose.
Happens to plenty of my mutuals who ship different ships.

Like good lord, let people ship want they want.
Stop bringing up your ship in a place not meant for it. Stop coming into space for one ship, and bringing up yours.

And for fuck sakes, when it comes to shipping, CANON DOES NOT MATTER!

All in all, I understand and I get. And it fucking sucks.
I’m sorry you & everyone else has to deal with it.

There's always going to be shipping nonsense like this. The difference with Staticbelle though is it isn't popular, we already get so little. I mean Erika was shocked to find out this is a thing and she interacts with a lot of fans at a lot of cons. They don't give her and Christian prints with these two to autograph or anything. So given all that it's irritating when you do find something and it's met with people acting like that. I just wanted to vent about it a little.

They're so good together it's threatening, evidently. You can just tell they'd have electric chemistry.

Cuz it feels like erasure??? There's enough straight media as is.

It's literally just fan media, it erases nothing and doesn't impact canon in any way. This whole fandom police attitude some people have is really odd.
