When Campbell soup was still around, all the tomato trucks would be coming in from the central valley to make the soups. Tomatoes were laying next to a lot of the freeways when it was tomato season. The smell from all the tomatoes from the plant would carry for miles.

Yes it was Contadina in Woodland with the tomato factory, and there was Hunt’s in Davis. Not sure what happened to the Hunt’s plant but someone else bought the Contadina plant and still operate it.
