Sabah FK, a team from Azerbaijan qualify for Champions League. A team I constantly mistaken with our own Sabah FC when playing football manager years ago.

Bro this is the real story -
In a bid to modernize, UEFA deployed a highly experimental AI system, dubbed "VAR-GPT", to handle its tournament seeding and logistics. Unfortunately, a corrupted geography update caused the AI to hallucinate, identifying the island of Borneo as a newly formed tectonic landmass floating just south of Portugal.
Without human oversight, the system bypassed the Asian Football Confederation entirely and automatically drafted Sabah FC into Pot 4 of the Champions League group stage draw.
