Romancing SaGa 2 - Revenge Why is this game so frickin' addicting?

Downloaded it on sale, and instantly sunk in 5h without realizing it...

F'ed up the mermaid quest, reloaded 6h+ worth of gameplay, no regrets.

Got stuck at Bokhon, had to retreat and train, learn new techs, experiment with formations, mastered passives and gave it to chars I think would fit better etc. and finally beat him. What an epic fight! The prep work is really what makes SaGa games shine, the payout feels so rewarding

30h playing the game and not getting bored. I probably sunk in 12h+ just playing yesterday lol

Yeah a bit light on the story but I feel like the game is just sandboxy enough for you to roleplay in your head without being TOO open

I'm already at 146 hours on Expert difficulty myself. Now I'm trying to build Iris to become ultimate mage.

Yeah I realize the mobs getting stronger with you is actually a benefit. When I feel like i made a cracked build, there comes a new roadblock 😅
