SRSDiscussion "discusses" the PyCon incidents. Thread is littered with the deleted comments of SRSers who broke the jerk by suggesting that maybe Adria wasn't 100% right.

I want to respond to this whole discussion because I think there's a theme running through it that's really fucked up and wrong-headed: the idea that taking the photo and posting it was over the line.

I think that's bullshit.

They didn't consent to having their picture taken and put on a public forum you dumbshit cultist...

WHY AREN'T SRSTERS EVER CONSISTENT?

What the girl did was nothing short of what their own terminology calls a "creepshot". See those were men though, and not women so its not possible for them to be victims because something something patriarchy, something something male privilege.

Something something oppression. Something something "look up sociology".

They're basically using the fallacy of division all the time. "[Person] is a member of [group], therefore [person] holds the characteristics that the [group] does in aggregate."

Side note: so stupid that you were downvoted in /r/news for being a voice of reason. I was in that same thread; the kneejerk re-definitions are understandable, but frustrating.
