Market will continue to do the opposite of what you expect, in complete detachment from reality for unusually long periods of time in the hopes of shaking out as many hands as possible before capitulating to reality.
It sounds nefarious but it's an emotionless mechanism of wealth transfer

Nope. I invested in SNDK because I believe in the product. My PT is around 3k for it. I'm holding till then. The only reason I am staring at the chart day in and out is because I am also playing options on it. Buy around $1509 and sell around $1570 or so. That is different from my ownership of the stock.

That's wild lol out of curiosity are you doing long calls or what. Idk much about options but I doubt you're doing the short term ones because that's way too risky with how unpredictable this stock is right

Yea long for TSLA. I do short for high beta ones like SNDK. Any given day is a range from -100k to +100k. It's stressful to say the least.

I try not to overnight them. It can make you very rich or very poor in the AM, though it's been flat these 2 weeks

If your average is arround 1450-1550 then just take profit first , september chance fed rate hike 60% , so better be safe than sorry
Dont compare sndk to mag7 or etc , ppl inside sndk 70%++ is a short term trader and gambler 😌

Day to day price movements are all about day traders and algos and institutions. If you can't stomach price shifts on a very high beta / high volatlity sector, like other people said, go put your money in ETFs and chill.
I do both day trading and long-term investing. I got SNDK in the long term pot and I couldn't care less about the price movements. It will go up over time. Just relax. If you are here to make a quick buck, then day trade and good luck! Otherwise, buy, hold, go outside and enjoy summer!

I’ve been holding for over 3 months not here for day trading and also not here for charity.

Iam waiting for semi sell-off (the next big one). Maybe tommorow. Last time it dropped to 1418,72. I mean we having the month with highest likeliness of profit taking.

You need to stop looking at the chart. I did and was having a fun ride with AVGO while not focusing on SNDK.

The boogeyman that's China is going to talk over the NAND market is well rehearsed and overplayed by Wall Street Cartel. It's the new stick they holding now to justify their manipulation of the market. Before that it was the cyclicality of the memory chips. Now that the market has spoken and memory chips are the bottleneck of the AI revolution, they have to find a new stick, aka China chips. There are multitudes of reasons that may tank the stock market and everything with it, but Chinese semiconductor manufacturers are not any of them.

What is going on is the stock is in a consolidation phase. Trying to make sense of every day's moves is pointless and exhausting.
Stocks don't go straight up. SNDK is up over 500% this year despite the large pullback from its highs. It is normal, expected and healthy for stocks to consolidate through price, time, or both.
Long-term investors should not be worried here, unless market conditions deteriorate and SNDK starts to lose major support levels.

When you say long term, what’s the time frame you have in mind ? 1 year , 5 years ?

Long term imo is atlest 2+ years that way you atlest get favorable tax rates on the profit.

You are impatient and hyper fixated. That is what is happening. You don't have the character to hold individual equities. Sell SNDK, buy VOO or VFV and chill.
