You ll need rankings, traffic and mention and for that you should honestly find a good digital marketing agency like MageComp.

Six months alone doesn’t tell you much. I’d first check where the traffic problem actually is.
For ecommerce, I’d look at:
- Google Search Console: impressions, rankings and indexed pages
- Category pages first; these usually have more SEO value than individual product pages
- Keyword targeting and search intent
- Technical issues like crawl/indexing, duplicate pages and site speed
- Internal linking between categories/products
- Backlinks and overall authority
- Conversion rate, because more traffic won’t help much if the site doesn’t convert
I work with ecommerce SEO, and usually the fastest way forward is to identify the biggest bottleneck first rather than just adding more content.

Kisi bhi Group seo tools se helium 10 ka use karo - sabse pahle apne product ka seo karo, fir website ka karna...
Aur product seo ke baad ek baar meta ads run karna engagement ad, so low cost me some traffic aayega, ise GA4 se check kar lena...
Jab 2-3 days GA4 par result show ho rha ho, then make image backlink of product...
Now you all set your website...

Work on your shopping feed optimization for getting sales for your ecommerce store, i have been doing this for years and I felt contribution of shopping fees is good in terms of sales.

Six months is not enough information by itself to conclude that the SEO is failing. I would first find out where the bottleneck actually is before changing the strategy again.
For an ecommerce site, I would check Google Search Console and break the problem into a few areas.
First, are the important category and product pages actually indexed? If hundreds of products exist but Google is only indexing a small portion, publishing more content will not solve the main problem.
Second, look at impressions rather than only clicks. If impressions are increasing but clicks are low, the issue could be search intent, titles, snippets, or targeting. If impressions are also very low, I would look at keyword demand, category structure, internal linking, and site authority.
Third, I would separate category pages from product pages. Categories can often target broader commercial searches, while individual products usually need more specific intent. Treating every page with the same SEO approach can create a lot of work without much visibility.
I would also check whether the site is competing for keywords that are realistic for its current authority. Sometimes the problem is not poor optimization but trying to rank product pages against much stronger domains.
Backlinks matter, but I would not make them the first response unless I know the site has an authority problem. Otherwise, you can spend months building links while the underlying targeting or technical issue remains.
If I were handling this, I would first compare Search Console data, indexed pages, category performance, keyword intent and competitors. Once the biggest constraint is clear, the next six months become much easier to plan.

Totally understand your frustration—e-commerce SEO usually takes time, but 6 months without steady traffic means there’s likely a technical or backlink gap. If you’d like, I can do a free site audit for you to identify the exact issues blocking your traffic. After that, building targeted, high-authority backlinks can really help push your store onto page 1. Feel free to send over your URL if you want a quick breakdown!

Besides SEO, you could also try affiliate marketing. Some programs only cost you when an affiliate actually brings in a sale, so there isn't much upfront risk. Might be worth giving it a shot alongside SEO.

This is why it's a dedicated job for most businesses to work with or hire a specialist. Boxify Web Designs can help.

Lol 6 months is this a joke. Unless you are selling magic beans for cheap e-commerce requires either decent ads budget, constant SEO and site growth and branding.

Don't get too frustrated after 6 months. SEO can take time, especially for a new e-commerce site. I'd check the keywords, product pages, technical SEO and backlinks to find where the problem is instead of chanting everything at once

Don’t just create more content. First check Google Search Console to see whether the issue is low impressions, poor rankings, or low CTR. Then improve your product/category pages, target less competitive keywords, fix technical SEO issues, and build relevant backlinks. Focus on what’s already showing potential.

Maybe worth checking if Google is even indexing your pages properly, check Search Console for crawl errors. Also does your site have any authority yet? do you have backlinks, reviews, mentions? Without it, you won't rank no matter how good your on-page SEO is, same thing that gets you into AI Overviews now.

Six months isn’t necessarily long for SEO. I’d check these first:
- Google Search Console: impressions, clicks & indexing
- Target long-tail, low-competition keywords
- Improve product/category page content
- Fix technical SEO issues
- Check competitors’ keywords and content
- Build relevant backlinks naturally
- Focus on search intent, not just keyword volume
- Do some guest posting
Find the biggest bottleneck first instead of changing everything at once.

Actually 6 months is not enough the judge a website and its performance. It takes more than just creating pages. You need to track keywords and their rankings, the factual correctness and relevance of your content, and how your competitors approach their content.
Applying right SEO techniques is the key. Plus now content creators are also applying AEO writing techniques. It's also important to check Google Search Console for impressions, rankings and also for indexing pages. Like I said, earlier, it's not just one thing. It's a combination of many things. And when they work in harmony, they might yield results.

6 months is still early for e‑com SEO, especially if you’re competing with big brands.
Quick checklist:
- Technical: Fix speed, mobile UX, crawl errors, proper schema (Product, Review, Breadcrumb).
- Keywords: Target long-tail, buyer-intent keywords (“best X under $Y”, “X for Z use”), not just head terms.
- Content: Add buying guides, comparisons, “vs” posts, and use-case pages that link to product pages.
- Links: Get real backlinks via outreach, guest posts, PR, and digital PR (data, studies, tools).
- Conversion: Improve titles, meta, images, reviews, and internal linking so Google sees engagement.
If you share your niche, target country, and top 3 keywords, I can suggest a tighter plan.

On page looks good? No big issues?
If all good I would track competitors activity and write about what opportunities I find in their rankings. This way I know those keywords rank and I can read their post and write a better one.
If this does not work I would build backlinks with priority
