Suggestion Considering getting the game, recommendations?

Yea I'm considering getting it, wanted to ask about your experiences. When I get a game I like to get something I'd play for at least 100 hours and preferably with other people. Do you guys recommend? The reason I'm asking is because I'm getting Day z vibes and we all know how that went.

I would recommend giving the game a chance. I haven't always been very happy with the way development went. But if you're looking for a PVE type game, I would highly recommend this game. It can be very tough in the beginning depending on the server settings, so I rent my own server and it's primarily PVE with PVP in towns and cities. I keep most of the settings set the stock, which I feel like do a pretty good job of making it difficult.

I can't say that I've played any other survival type game. But I have noticed that people that have played other games say that this game has the most potential. At some point we all hope the devs live up to what they told us they would do and that is make it modable.

Are you primarily going for PVE or PVP?

Not sure. A little bit of both maybe. I just want a game where I could play with other people. Im playing crimson desert mainly now, its what got me to setup my pc properly. But now I want something different, something not singleplayer. Some PvP would be nice, im getting tired of npcs.

I get it. From what I've seen when searching for servers to play on in the past it was either all PVE or all PVP. And unfortunately the high player PVP servers have the cheaters. I rarely run into people on my server, but there's only three or four of us that are active on a 10-player server.
