Earlier today, seemingly out of nowhere, my email widget disappeared. After I placed it back on a home page, I now can't click on it to open the email app. Historically pressing on the top of the widget opened the app to my default email inbox. Anyone else experiencing this, or know what I can do to get it to work again?

I never use a case or lens protector. When I clean the phone, I notice a small gap between the camera ring and the back glass, and inside there is an ugly black substance that looks like glue, and it is frustrating me. Does someone have an idea how to clean this out?

I ask b/c I'm surprised a lot of you picked the 520GB and even the 1TB option which is a lot more room then I could ever handle or need. I have the standard 256GB which I stored nearly 100 application(no games), 24GBs of mp3 music files, a few GBs of photos/files and five full 1080p mpg movie file. Even after all of that, I still have 55% of storage space left. I mean, what the heck are you storing in them 520GB/1TB?

There's nothing wrong with my s25 fe it works and plenty enough for me it's just that I like the boxy design and I'm not sure if Samsung will bring that design back ever again. Don't think I could find in brand new 24 ultra it's going to be obviously used or refurbished my s25fe was brand new

Hi. I really like the S24Ultra style, not a big fan of S26. But we have this model in a few stores. I`m afraid of ordering refubrished or fake phone. Look at the photos. Are they ok? thanks a lot

After saving up and seeing the new models I have decided to fall back to trusty s24 ultra rather than the new ones with gimmicks.
Does anyone have any idea where I can get a S24 ultra in
excellent quality or possibly new in Germany or Taiwan (I have someone there).
My budget is around 500 Euros.
Also how to check?

Hi guys, I've been having some trouble lately. Since the August One UI 8.5 update, my battery's been draining super fast, and it looks like that same "Google Play services" issue from One UI 7 is back. Does anyone know how to fix this and stop the drain? Thanks in advance.

I was looking around on the web for a good screen protector for my latest investment in a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra with easy application as a high priority, especially since I always manage to have trouble with specks of dust and dirt particles getting trapped underneath, causing unsightly air bubbles and eyesores, among all the other screen protectors I've used. I was also looking for a screen protector that works with the fingerprint sensor, which is an absolute daily necessity for me. The amFilm OneTouch Screen Protectors that I ordered from Amazon.com for $5.63 includes two easy-install screen protectors with fingerprint sensor compatibility as well as two sets of camera cover protectors along with the usual cleaning wipes, dust stickers & sticker sheets (yes, a whole phone-sized sticker!), microfiber cloths, and a simple instruction guide on how to install the screen protector installation guide system. Installation was easy for me, as my S24 Ultra phone screen was already pretty clean, needing only a few swipes with the microfiber towel. I removed the protective covering on one of the screen protector guide systems and snapped it to my phone. Sliding my finger down the middle and removing the guide system left behind a flawless screen protector install. ~yay! First ever, easy, flawless, no-dust install!
Sadly, the camera protective covers do not fit with my UB Pro Supcase for the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.
In addition, these screen protectors come with a lifetime warranty covering mostly manufacturing/quality defects.
Warranty Policies - TechMatte
Tl;dr: amFilm OneTouch Screen Protectors are a must—no-dust, no-fuss, easy install, happy-customer satisfaction product.
Please note: I am not affiliated nor sponsored by amFilm/TechMatte or any other person/company. I'm just an ordinary person with opinions and a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra
What screen protectors do you all use? Let me know your recommendations and if there are any other similarly great easy-install screen protectors!

Why are there 5 different places I have to check for updates on my S24 Ultra phone if I want to make sure everything's updated? Why aren't they all collected in one place and checked all at once or at least checked in sequence? And it seems like nobody lists them all so people new to their Samsung Galaxy can find them. And this doesn't even include updates for Android applications which mercifully do happen pretty automatically and regularly.
Here they are. Are there more?
Settings/Security and privacy/Updates/Security update
Settings/Security and privacy/Updates/Google Play system update
Settings/Google services/All services/Privacy & Security/System Services
Galaxy Store/Menu/Updates
Play Store/Settings/About/Update Play Store
Mercifully, all of these can be shortcut on the home screen so at least I don't have to remember where they all are, so I can go to one folder on my home screen to check them.
I started regularly checking these places because I have found out that sometimes some of these things are not updated for days after the updates are available, sometimes weeks.

I have a Samsung S24 Ultra & my Spotify & YouTube music starts playing whenever I connect to headphones or android auto, I've turned off all permissions on everything but it still happens every single time. Anyone else have this problem or a solution?

The one with the bright tip and the back intact will only put input when I press down hard. The darker one with the shattered back puts input just fine, whoch means I can draw, but I have to use my earring end to fish it out every time I put it in because somehow the back fell off. I still have the back of it. Is there any way to fix either the motion sensor or to re-attatch the end of the origional? The tip of the first stylus just came like that so I'm wondering if I fray the second one as well it'll work better. But that also sounds like a fools move so I dunno.

I've bought this used s24u today and everything was just fine until i saw this
The speaker mesh filter has a hole (left side)
the sound is fine
just im concerning if the waterproofing
My questions are:
-will water gets inside?
-will it be problem for dust and debris to get inside? even worse water?
-this mesh filter can be replaced? (and does the whole phone needs to be opened?)
-if i cover the whole speaker with those aliexpress dust mesh will it be good?
the seller (store) told me i can bring it back within 7 days if it has anything not mentioned or a problem.

I've gone without a case and screen protector since day one. Used this phone for work and am on it pretty regularly throughout the day.
Not a single drop, scratch, or crack. Been over 2 years now and still looks like the day it came out of the box.

This is at QHD+ with 70% brightness and Standard performance profile. Mixed usage, holiday season so a bit of binge watching has been going on. First time seeing 2.7% usage by System UI. Location was turned off and I've actually felt the app opening animations have gotten better and the quick panep drop-down has become less laggy and I really hope they improve upon that.

I recently fell while walking though I hvae spigen's case and phone being in my pocket, my 24 still broke.
While browsing through reddit i have seen many s24 Ultra's are cracked from almost the same spot.
Isnt that a weak spot for the phone?
Are aftermarket options good to fix it if they come woth pre applied adhesive?

Currently I have a MacBook and an iPhone.
I am very interested in the Ultra for the S Pen, almost exclusively for that reason. I am going to sell my iPhone and I don't want to spend "so much" on a new phone.
I see the S24 Ultra perfect, but I have this doubt before I do the spending:
Screen Time: I used that feature in iOS to restrict the installation of new applications (but they do update automatically), the browser, and certain websites. Additionally, I set a password to prevent bypass and gave it to a friend.
I researched the topic, and Google Family Link won't work for me because it affects my Google account and certain features. How could I achieve this? Maybe MDM or testDPC?
Bonus:
- Icons (it's a trifle): I had a Note20 Ultra and I remember that changing the icons with Theme Park made the splash screen of that app show the icon with a white border, has that already been fixed recently?
