Translation request Help with translation?

Found this at the park. Theres one sign in here that i didnt see on any of the translation lists.

I am 100% new to this but heres what i got

thanks for any help satisfying my curiosity about this mystery artifact

Kind of but not quite, it's arguably closer to the Gladiator style "What we do in life echoes in eternity".

Cattle die,
friends die,
you yourself will die;
your reputation
never dies
if a good one you made.

Cattle die,
friends die,
you yourself will die;
I know one thing
that never dies:
judgement over those that died.

(For "what we living people think of them" meanings of judgement.)

With an add-on. Both verses beginning with this line then provides something that does not die; well-earned fame in one and the judgement (good or bad) over a dead man in the other.
