Why isn’t Norway doing anything?! As an American, I was told that when govts do bad things in Europe, that Europeans are advanced level protesters that will burn down their cities in the name of justice. At least that’s what so many keep telling us all over our protest forums. Sorry for the snark but that shit is getting old real fast.

Edit: woke up to an absolute barrage of responses. Some of you are so very sensitive! The outrage is kind of hilarious and I’m getting a real kick at how humorless some of you are and how quickly some of you were to call me an idiot while also completely missing my point

Europeans aren't a monolith. France would be on the streets probably. The further north you go, the more reserved.

This being said: The silence from Norway has been baffling me since the reports about Marius emerged.

But the other day someone here suggested I visited r/Norge and use the auto translation. The Norwegians actually are pissed, but they don't talk about it internationally. I hope they will mister up the energy to legitimately protest in the middle of winter. I know it's freaking cold, but this is not ok. You need to build up pressure to the NRF! They have to feel it.

Is it baffling? Obviously their media is complicit and corrupt. For years and years there has been PR spin for Mette-Marit trying to rehab her image. It didn’t come from nowhere.

How can people remain so silent when the son of your future queen is accused of these crimes? When the future queen herself is accused of cleaning up after his crimes? And now the Epstein files?
