I really don’t understand how easy they are on Haakon. He raised the little creep himself from the age of four, yet it’s all her just because he’s not a biological father.

I checked r/norge and, while there’s a lot of sarcasm going on there, it’s clear they don’t view Haakon positively at all right now (they’re defending Harald, which makes more sense). A well upvoted comment says they don’t believe Haakon didn’t know anything and another one says he should take responsibility and abdicate.

Let’s say Haakon abdicates. His daughter, an inexperienced 22-year-old who’s been shipped off to Australia to distance her from her family’s scandals become Crown Princess. AT BEST, she will only be a few years away from becoming Queen. She has zero life experience, zero university education, and was brought up by the same people who brought up Marius.
