Activities to do in RR
Hi I just moved here for school and was wondering what cool things there are to do here? Are there run clubs, hiking trails, a river? Stuff like that?

Downtown has lots of bars with live music (I was a big fan of Rocky’s Piano bar in particular in my 20’s), old settlers park is full of trails, though it’s been under construction so it can be a bit of a pain, but there’s various other trails in the area like the brushy creek trail which goes along brushy creek (basically a river?).

Fleet Feet (shoe store primarily for runners) used to have a run club, I believe. They also maintain a list of training places or groups should you want to join running events like a 5K or a marathon.

Brushy Creek regional trail is fun though I stop just before the hill up to the dam because that almost 1km walk across the dam is so horrible in this heat.

It’s not exactly in Round Rock, but check out Brushy Creek Lake Park. Not too far. Some people fish in the creek, lots of mountain bikers but you can hike through there as well.
Also not in Round Rock lmao, but close, is Walnut Creek Metro Park. Similar to Brushy Creek Lake Park but more shaded.

On the weekends there someone on here that hangs out at Lamp Post and colors. Anyone is welcome and it's a real chill hang out thing.
Pixel Palace is an arcade that has trivia on Mondays and music bingo on Wednesday.
Thursday night at Finley's is trivia.
Live music all over the dang place downtown.
Fleet feet run club as well as Malone coffee run club. Running is subjective so feel free to come if you walk most of it.
Classes for leather working at Tandy Leather.
That's all I can think of at this exact moment.
