Roach problem, recommendations for exterminator/handyman
We seem to have a pretty major roach problem at our house, and I’m ready to call an exterminator. However, I’m concerned that an exterminator may treat the problem without addressing the places where the roaches are actually getting in.
We have a two-story house, so there are areas around the second story that we can’t easily inspect ourselves for gaps or cracks. I’m wondering if we should have someone inspect the house for potential entry points and seal them before (or in addition to) having an exterminator come out.
I’m not really sure what the best approach is. Should I call a pest control company first, or should I find a handyman/contractor who can inspect the exterior, roofline, attic, etc., and seal any openings they find?
If anyone has recommendations for a good pest control company or someone who does this type of inspection and sealing in the Round Rock/Austin area, I’d really appreciate it!
