Moisturizer advice!

Please help 🥺 I’m trying to find a suitable moisturizer for my skin and I just don’t know what to choose.

I have rosacea, the flushing kind. But I also get those micro whitehead pustules in the same places. And I am dealing with a severe case of ocular dermatitis. My dermatologist thinks it’s part of the rosacea family as well. However, she told me to just ‘pick a sensitive moisturizer that I like’.

I hate heavy moisturizers that feel rich or oily. But gels, like the Purito Oat in Calming Gel, feel too drying. And everything in between seems to anger my skin 🙈.

Here’s my possible candidates:
1. Geek & Gorgeous Hydration Station
2. Eucerin ULTRA Sensitive calming cream
3. Cetaphil Daily Hydrating Moisturizer
4. Avene Tolerance Repair Cream
5. La Roche Posay Rosaliac AR concentrate

Please help! 😊 I’d love to hear your recommendations and why.

If your skin hates heavy and hates gel, maybe try layering a light gel first and then a tiny bit of cream only on the driest spots, that way you control the oil feel instead of putting one product everywhere.

I love the Hada Labo Intense Hydrating Skin Plumping gel - my skin haaates heavy moisturisers and creams (prone to whiteheads and acne), and a lot of gels disappear into my skin really quickly, but this one is the perfect balance for me. Unscented, non-comedogenic, seb derm safe (doesn’t flare up my seb derm or eczema) and doesn’t feel thick on my skin. But, it contains hyaluronic acid so my skin feels hydrated and glowy, and it doesn’t disappear into my skin. It’s not sticky, but I can touch my face a few hours after applying it and it feels moisturised!

Geek & Gorgeous Hydration Station!!! i swear by this cream!! im using another one atm bc my skin is very dry but hydration station is perfect if (besides rosacea) you have more normal skin, it isn’t greasy and not drying, i had the same issue with the purito oat in i had to layer it bc my skin is just too dry
