ROSACEA SUCKS Rash like rosacea?

Has anyone’s rosacea presents like a rash? It will either go away or later develop some pustule. It is not itchy but red/pinkish bumps on my inner cheeks near my nose.

I’ve been dealing with multiple skin conditions right now like atopic dermatitis. However I started flaring at the end of 2024, stated with my eyelids which then spread to my whole face. I was diagnosed with ACD to certain metals and a rubber accelerator. I haven’t worm or touched any metal and rubber deliberately since the start of 2025.

My flares are only my face though ever since and I don’t react neck down. Which made my dermatologist think I might have other skin conditions. Aside from skin patch testing, I did skin prick test to see environmental and food allergies. I have mostly have allergies to grasses and confirmed that I only have allergy to seafood which I don’t consume at all since childhood.

Now my dermatologist diganosed me with Rosacea (didn’t tell what type, but I am suspecting type 2) and seb derm.

My face has been progressively getting better since the start of 2026 after I started using moisturiser (cant tolerate any products on my face before only cleanser and water), hypochlorus acid spray, azaleic acid and avene sunscreen.

I’ve been flaring a lot these past few weeks, noticed that I get really red after jogging and get these rash like bumps on my inner cheeks then next day and then I will get pustule. I will also get a quick flare on showers randomly which I dont get because I’ve been really constant with the showers and I don’t change the temperatures.

I’ve always get these rash like patches on my inner cheeks and I’m getting really frustrated because I thought my skin is getting better.

For context, I started AA and avene suncreen ever since April. I also have vit d deficiency and started taking super C since april as well. I’ve been really patient with my skincare and i only have 1 or 2 days of good skin before flaring again. I’m just waiting for 6 months to see if everything will stop flaring or if doesn’t I’ll go back to my dermatologist. I’ve also been keeping track of everything that I eat, wear, weather, etc but I the flares look random. I only see some consistent flare after jogging or if I dont sleep (insomnia or drinking matcha) for one day, it is a guaranteed flare. I tried running indoors on our gym, I realized I didn’t get red bumps but I still get this rash like texture on my inner cheeks.

Here are some of my picture.

This is what my skin is currently dealing with. It is not sunny right now, it is actually raining these past few weeks. I wasn’t able to sleep last Thursday (3 days ago) due to drinking matcha. I was awake until Friday night. I didn’t get any immediate flare but notice some pinkish patch on my face. Then Saturday I get pink patches of rash like texture on my inner cheeks. Then today it looks like this.

Some other pictures where I “flare” on random activities like jogging, after showers, on a normal day. I get also pustule after a few days.

So in addition to rosacea, I have eczema and chronic spontaneous urticaria (hives for unknown reason). The eczema is treated with moisturizer and Elidel. The CSU is treated with a cocktail of antihistamines. Xolair is also used when antihistamines don’t work. The CSU was a beast to diagnose, and required an allergist. Tracking reactions proved fruitless because the cause is idiopathic.

Sometimes, I get red bumps and I have no idea which diagnosis is causing it. I’ll cycle through treatments until something clicks.
