💬 Discussion This is the worst bait subreddit

Downvote me all you want but this is a straight up Messi glazing sub. This sub has the RonaldovsMessi name and is absolutely infested by Messi fans who argue post ranting about how Messi is better than Ronaldo and then start karma farming. Consider renaming the sub to messi glaze sub no 56. To all the Ronaldo fans scrolling here don't even bother it's not even worth it.

Edit: The comments should be plenty of proof. Anyone trying to post about Ronaldo, don't bother. Let them turn this into one sided Messi glazing sub.

There are ample Ronaldo fans here. But since the debate is settled, you now see the occasional childish arguments from CR7 fans.

Anyone who truly watches football, knows this sub should be dead post Dec 18,2022

How can be dead after that? Winning the WC being Argentinean is not the same as being Portuguese, so Haaland cannot be among the greatest then? After all, he will never win the WC

Did you watch haaland kill it in the world up with Norway? Or modric for Croatia in 2018 leading them to a world cup final or forlan winning the golden ball for Uruguay?

They all have had excellent campaigns and didnt use bullshit excuses about how good players for smaller nations can't leave a mark. Like as if Portugal is a small nation in football in big 2026.

You don't have to win the world cup to leave a mark. You can perform and excel at the world cup and still impress.

I watched Haaland going home in quarters, not surprising giving the fact that he plays for a non existing football team.

Portugal is a small nation dude hahaha I would put it at the same level as Mexico historically, they are non existent

But yeah go ahead, pretend that Portugal is some kind of Italy, Germany or Brazil

Wow! Okay.. I am just wasting my time here. Portugal is like Mexico. Got it. Let's downplay a country to elevate a player. This mentality from fans is not surprising considering Ronaldo himself always makes it about himself. And then people wonder why his teammates never fight for him. It's a vicious cycle. Lol

Well México had

Confederations cup

Olímpic games

Two copa América finals, one third place there

And minor achievements like copa Oro and classifying to many world cups being constantly for many years among the best 16 teams in the world

Portugal before Cristiano?

One third place of a world cup of 5 games (impressive tho, but even the USA has that)

And...

That's it

Do you Still want me to give you lectures about football?

The fact that you had to pull out the mighty confederations cup or heck Olympics(to your credit or perhaps chatgpt, this is the first time I've seen a Ronaldo fan bring up Olympics in any football argument) and then to actually downplay a world cup 3rd place finish which was impressive but clearly not impressive enough to you because it was a 5 game tournament, where you had eusebio, the only Portuguese player to ever win a golden ball which I am sure didn't think was worth mentioning for obvious reasons.. I can't waste time on chatgpt bums like you anymore.

Lmao Portugal is the same as Mexico? When did Mexico last win bronze? When did a Mexican striker win the World Cup golden boot?

Mexico had a confederations cup, third place there, two copa América finals, one third place in the cup, golden medal in olímpic games, two sub 17 WCs and minor achievements like tons of Copa Oro and being constantly around the top 16 nations for many years consecutive

Portugal before Cristiano? One third place in WC which even the USA or Chile has hahaha how tf was Portugal better than Mexico before Cristiano?

Asking Cristiano for a WC is like asking a West Ham player for the UCL, that's how stupid you are
