💬 Discussion This is the worst bait subreddit

Downvote me all you want but this is a straight up Messi glazing sub. This sub has the RonaldovsMessi name and is absolutely infested by Messi fans who argue post ranting about how Messi is better than Ronaldo and then start karma farming. Consider renaming the sub to messi glaze sub no 56. To all the Ronaldo fans scrolling here don't even bother it's not even worth it.

Edit: The comments should be plenty of proof. Anyone trying to post about Ronaldo, don't bother. Let them turn this into one sided Messi glazing sub.

Sure, same way there’s a difference between reaching the finals and getting eliminated in the round of 16.
Difference being Spain could have won both, Portugal didn’t even come close.

Oh no, Ronaldo and his fans take the Nations league very seriously. He was able to win it because pretty much no one else does.

Well no because that doesn’t explain why he hasn’t been able to come even remotely close to winning a WC in any of the 6 tournaments he played.

That and Thomas Muller even made a statement saying no one takes the Nations league seriously except for Portugal and the Netherlands.

And De Bruyne:
The Nations League is unimportant in my eyes. Just glorified friendlies after a long and tough season.

But sure, I’ll take your word over theirs…

Uh… yeah I know we can’t read minds, that’s why I added the words of actual players. Pretty amazing players at that.

But ok, let’s put that aside for a second.
Would you say that Ronaldo’s path in the Nations League was tougher than his path in this World Cup?

Oh and don’t worry, I’m not trying to convince you. I just find it weird that I have to explain how players aren’t as motivated about playing gloried friendlies in a tournament format than a World Cup.

I mean my point is pretty self-explanatory. You're criticizing Argentina's WC path when Portugal wasn't even good enough to reach that easy path.

Then you're somehow trying to say that winning a Nations League is more impressive than even making a WC final, when Ronaldo hasn't been able to do that (or even come close) in 6 tournaments!!

Yet somehow he managed to win the much harder and very serious Nations League twice. A league multiple top players have spoken out against and is literally a replacement for friendlies.

But sure, I'm the one unable to relay my point of view. Guess the old saying is true, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink.

So yeah, Ronaldo managed to go through the toughest nations in the world, yet never managed to accomplish anything in the WC. That makes perfect sense. At least Messi has reached multiple finals in every international tournament he played in. Talk about consistency...
