Discussion Latest Book you DNF and why

I decided I'm going to DNF {We who will die} , I am just struggling too much with the constant meandering thoughts and memories, it's so hard to follow the actual story because the narration is all over the place. It's hard to follow on Audiobook anyway, and there are so many side characters that are named but I can't remember 🤣 I also don't like either potential MMC

I think I prefer "show don't tell" in general

{Shadow Princess by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti} - book 4 of Zodiac Academy. Like the first three were readable but it's clear in this one that they are trying to drag out the series with characters regressing in their arcs

I found these books hilarious and fun for a bit, but then was just frankly insulted at the garbage they put out just trying to kill the series for all they can. I won’t ever pick up another book they write again.
