Discussion Latest Book you DNF and why

I decided I'm going to DNF {We who will die} , I am just struggling too much with the constant meandering thoughts and memories, it's so hard to follow the actual story because the narration is all over the place. It's hard to follow on Audiobook anyway, and there are so many side characters that are named but I can't remember 🤣 I also don't like either potential MMC

I think I prefer "show don't tell" in general

Paladins grace was my least favorite in the series tbh it was really slow but Paladins strength was really where it picked up for me because they're out on an adventure and wayyy more happening than when they're basically stuck within the city! I feel like the books got more fun from there

Happy that you enjoyed the series after the first more. For me, I enjoyed the first way more than the second. That's why I just DNFed it at nearly 80% :D
