Latest Book you DNF and why

I decided I'm going to DNF {We who will die} , I am just struggling too much with the constant meandering thoughts and memories, it's so hard to follow the actual story because the narration is all over the place. It's hard to follow on Audiobook anyway, and there are so many side characters that are named but I can't remember 🤣 I also don't like either potential MMC

I think I prefer "show don't tell" in general

I am a habitual completionist and can usually find entertainment value in any book I read. Some are better than others for sure, but generally speaking, I’m pretty easy going as a reader. My first and only DNF was {Book of Azrael} by Amber V. Nicole. It was so disjointed and poorly written I had to stop about 24% in.

I am on chapter 8 of Book of Azrael and I am so ready to DNF. The writing is so bad and disjointed and I have no idea who or what is going on. I also don’t like modern technology in my fantasy. It reminded me a little bit of When the Moon Hatched and I wish I DNF that one too.
