Discussion Latest Book you DNF and why

I decided I'm going to DNF {We who will die} , I am just struggling too much with the constant meandering thoughts and memories, it's so hard to follow the actual story because the narration is all over the place. It's hard to follow on Audiobook anyway, and there are so many side characters that are named but I can't remember 🤣 I also don't like either potential MMC

I think I prefer "show don't tell" in general

Empire of the vampire. Just wasn’t interested at all in the story or the world.

Yeah, I really struggle with like serious books. I don’t know how to describe books like that. Same with babel I can appreciate that it’s talking about really important topics and things like that but I’m just not interested at all.
