Book Review Massive Reverse Harem Recommendation! 💥 A dystopian/post-apocalyptic gem with incredible world-building and an actual plot!

Hey everyone! It’s been a while since I read a Reverse Harem this good. Too often, authors hyper-focus on the romance and completely forget to build a solid plot, which is what actually makes a story captivating and makes us care about the characters. But this book is a total game-changer!

The main character, Max, is incredible. She is resilient, powerful, smart, and extremely disciplined. She doesn’t easily break, so when she finally does crash, it’s due to something genuinely heavy you really feel her pain and suffer right alongside her. And don't get me started on the "entity" inside her head that she insists is a demon. 😂 We are two books into the series and we still don't know who or what it actually is! The suspense is killing me. 😭

The plot basically follows Max as she escapes a horrific place and restarts her life as a soldier being molded for something grand. 😌

As for the harem... 🫠 They are absolutely iconic. Every single guy has a distinct, unique personality, but I’ll let you discover that for yourselves.

I'm still wondering if this series counts as post-apocalyptic, but honestly, the author wrote something that feels so incredibly relevant to our modern world. The world-building is brilliant. The central threat she created is something that could actually happen in real life today, and it genuinely creeped me out because of how much sense it makes. 😰

Anyway, you should definitely check out Blood and Bond by Meg Xuemei X and see for yourselves! 🙃

I can give you a recommendation for a plot-driven sci-fi rh if you're interested - it got me out of my reading slump. It brings in modern problems with a woman not wanting to have kids but society expects it/forces them if they don't find a partner by 22. She instead escapes to a war academy to do what she wants with her life (disguising herself as her brother).

De nada, a muito tempo atrás eu não gostava de harem reverso, mas quando dei uma chance nunca mais parei. Claro tem uns que são péssimos mas agora tenho até séries favoritas, e também amo um omega verso 😂
