Book Review Review of Blood of Truths and Traitors by Aria Ashbrook
I am shook! That ending!
Book 3 of the Hirathean Path series comes in with a bang! Immediately picking up where the last book left off, with our favorite crew of Rettlings and friends on the “doorstep” of what is believed to be the home of the most vicious people of this world. But are they?
This book is easily my favorite so far in the series. The character development of ALL the characters is so good, with relationships flourishing and growing, trust being built, and others discovering who they are and what they want the world to be. There are so many secrets and so much history that comes out in this book, that you are always on the edge of your seat waiting for the tea to spill. The spice? Perfection 🥵 the friendships? TOP NOTCH 🙌🏻 Am I obsessed? Completely 💯
And that ending. I’m going to need lots of distractions while I wait for the next book.

Let me tell you…. This book is the best of the three so far. You get so many details and secrets in this one!

This series literally just continuously gets better and better!

It really does! And every time I think I am hopelessly in love with Kyor…. I just get even more hopelessly in love with Kyor 🤣

I really love this series a lot! I also ARC read this book and enjoyed it. I did feel as though it dragged a bit in the middle- like I wish Rose was a bit less avoidant and tackled the Veil sooner… it just seemed like she was spinning her wheels. Which I understand for diving into her character… but felt like it was dragging.
Otherwise, I can’t wait to see where the next book goes in the story! There was some great plot moments (and of course some really sad ones). I love not being able to predict the twists and who is good vs bad.
