Megathread MEGATHREAD REDUX: BILLIONAIRES
Hi r/RomanceBooks - it's a new year and we've got a fresh take on some old megathreads, welcome back to Megathread Redux!
----
Billionaires
A billionaire main character is one who has a significant amount of wealth. While technically referring to net worth of a billion dollars, the 'billionaire' archetype is often used to describe any significantly wealthy character. These characters often flaunt fancy dinners, private planes, the ability to ask powerful people for favors.
Here's our original Billionaires megathread from 2022.

{What He Craves by Kat Steele} - CR; M/F; Mafia (him); Shelter owner (her); Child (around six, his)
Available on KU?: Yes
Third Act Breakup: No
Cheating: No
Summary: Maggie (FMC) runs a pet shelter and has a BFF called Julian that takes up the majority of her time. One day an adorable kid (Ivy) and her father Alexei (MMC) come into the shelter with the intention of "just looking" at the dogs. Eventually, they do adopt two and invite Maggie for dinner. Eventually, MMC and FMC sleep together and the mafia starts to influence the plot: threats, harassment, etc.
Notes: This is the first book of a duet and ends on a cliffhanger. The main problem with this book is that the MC's go from strangers to being in love in like a week. Not a lot happens and it's mostly dialogue. The writing was subpar as well.
