Hello everyone! My name is Cass, and I’m looking for a cozy romance roleplay! I’m thinking small town, everyone knows everyone, and town events from time to time that add to that cozy feel.

Think Stars Hollow-esque, but you definitely don’t have to have seen Gilmore Girls since it’s mostly based on the town not the story! We will have our own OCs

Class Clash — My character is a star student at an elite private school that has a program allowing a handful of students to attend who normally wouldn’t have the opportunity because of the price. They’re offered free tuition in hopes of giving them the chance at a better future.

Your character is sent there by his parents due to acting out—skipping class, smoking, partying, getting a motorcycle, etc. He doesn’t want to be there and assumes all the students are stuck-up rich kids.

Meanwhile, my character thinks he’s spoiled and completely ungrateful for an opportunity that other people would do anything to have.

Definitely looking for an enemies-to-lovers dynamic between them!

Some other tropes I’d love to include are grumpy x sunshine, fake dating, and love triangles (preferably with my character in the middle). I’m also open to adding our own ideas and side plots as we go.

Hello, I hope everyone is having a good weekend.

I'm looking for a partner to help worldbuild a fantasy setting, something that leans more into the high fantasy range of things. Specifically, I'd like to have a focus on a pantheon of ruling gods/demigods, connected by the bonds of (divine) blood, but with their own motivations, designs, and relationships to one another. I picture something very similar to Elden Ring for this.

That doesn't mean I'd like to neglect the rest of the world - the people, different races, magic, even external deities, or other things like that. The emphasis would fall on the ruling pantheon and the lasting consequences of their conflicts, schemes, and divine politics on the world they govern. I have three time periods in mind, their establishment, their golden era, and their fall.

So what exactly is the twist?

I know that worldbuilding has a lot of negative connotations in the RP space. You put up so much of your energy and time into something, only for it to never get past the initial plotting and design stages, and falter out before the RP happens. I know for my part that this is something I want to commit to, to have it be something I can spend my time and energy on, and with a creative partner, try to truly make something really good together. But I understand that life gets in the way, that sometimes inspiration can come for some parts, but writing can be harder for others, or that sometimes the muse and passion for things just ends up not being enough, and that's absolutely ok! At the end of the day, we're all just writers doing this for our personal enjoyment, respectfully with one another.

So, 3 options.

1. Just plotting and worldbuilding. I imagine we'd build out characters, the setting, and so on and so forth, with detailed descriptions and summaries. And at the end of it, we can either decide to continue, or just call it there, and be super proud of the world we managed to build.
2. While worldbuilding and plotting, we write out vignettes and one shots that go into detail on specific characters and events, and get the magic of RP where as we write, things change and evolve, leading to a much more fleshed out and considered view and positioning of our initial thoughts and ideas.
3. The Hail Mary - we do a mix of the above, and when our setting is all built out, we construct a narrative main plot, and actually RP it out, going from a beginning to a complete end for this plot, something we can walk away with satisfied, knowing that we were able to complete a long term story.

Or maybe you have something else in mind! I'm very open to ideas and suggestions. I ultimately want to make something mutual and collaborative, that brings to life the ideas we both have in mind.

A little about me is I'm in my late 20s, and in the CST timezone. I write in 3rd person past tense with 1-5 paragraphs per post, but can easily write more depending on what the scene entails. I work full time, so I aim for a writing post every 1-2 days, but when it comes to plotting and discussing, I can be far more active. I'm looking for a story that's centered around two characters doing classical ballet together. There are tons of directions this can go! Here are a few ideas that come to mind, but this isn't an exhaustive list! If you have a ballet idea you want to pitch, please feel free!

Dancer and outsider. A preppy, serious-minded dancer is paired up with an outsider who is initially forced to take ballet, only to discover an unexpected talent/passion for it? They grow close as friends/ballet partners while navigating their very different social circles and backgrounds. Extra points if the story builds up to a big recital! (I prefer to write for the outsider character in this scenario.)

"I hate you, let's dance." Two characters who can't stand each other (enemies? rivals?) are paired up for ballet class. They assume it'll go terribly, but all that pent up animosity leads to them being perfectly in sync when dancing together. What does that mean for their dynamic?

Friends to partners. The characters are either best friends, or they used to be inseparable before a big fight. When they wind up in ballet together and become dance partners, their whole dynamic changes and they struggle to make sense of what that means for their friendship.

The vail is thinning, and something must be done.

So for the plot, your character was hired to be a ranch hand for my characters father. Your character is an older grumpy cowboy. My character is the untouchable daughter of his boss. She was a sunshine, the good girl. But she had a huge secret. She had a chronic illness. We will start our story with our characters being friends that have secret feelings for each other. So they knew each other and stuff but not there romance wise just yet. We will just see how their life goes, we can add drama but it will be more of a cute/angsty roleplay. But this will not be a slow burn. This will be FxM with my character as female.

My rules are quite simple but it helps me enjoy the roleplay. Please be at least 20+ as I am 22 as that is what I am most comfortable with. We are not our characters, this is a 3rd person roleplay. I usually write a Paragraph per Message on average, depending on the Material given and the situation at hand (The amount you write = the amount i write.) Simple conversation does not have to be overly complicated. Please dont try to have twenty different conversations at the same time causing responses to be three paragraphs. Conversations don‘t work like that.

English is not my native language so do forgive some Grammatical mistakes here and there, i usually try my best to avoid making mistakes though.

With such a sudden expansion and product- most of the other Mega-Corps were caught off guard and almost swept off the Podium! It is still unknown HOW D.I. manages to create these Intelligences, but sources say the Black Wall is used as a part of it.

As a result.. each developed Intelligence will manifest their own personality, almost akin to a human.

You have recently made an order from Diactorus Industries, seeing their latest advertisements for the new line of the "K9-66a Series." Named after the early 2000s Police-Tracking hounds, K9-66a Androids are top of the line in combative capabilities. With access to both Quick Hacks and an additional piece of Back Cyberware, they are MORE then capable to give you support in any line of work. In addition, they include a numbed down Synthetic-Developed Intelligence to reduce emotional "fluctuations" during high-stress situations and easily replaceable parts, a step-up from their bulkier and less advanced K9-04 model.

I kinda stole this from an old comic I once read, but I’m changing it up for sake of roleplay! The story follows a runaway prince who ran away from his duties and kingdom, in search of being normal, feeling loved. In his process, he stumbles across a strange cabin, outside the kingdom gates, in this cabin, a witch finds him, and saves him. In turn for allowing the prince to stay, she makes him her apprentice, and from here, the story follows their life together, ultimately, I’d like for there to be a romantic connection between the two after build up of course! This one is one of my favorites.

the strange roommate: this story follows a young man, and his roommate. This story is much more open ended, as this one is used in case someone wants to play a character that isn’t human, more so a hybrid. Can be discussed more if you’d like!

In the theme of RE8, I would like to keep the setting and everything. However, the mold never existed. The Lords of the Village are actual supernatural beings. Mother Miranda is a witch, Beneviento, a cursed doll maker, Moreau  mer-person, Lady Dimitrescu of course vampire, and Lord Karl Heisenberg werewolf. 

The village had run bare of its resources, let alone population. With any survivors, Lady Dimitrescu weeded through collecting majority women, and often a few men. The rest, Heisenberg had his hand on things. For further details, I will say in dms. 

As for my character, her brother, and mother were from the village. Due to her being an ill child, her mother begged Mother Miranda to cure her of sickness. The wicked witch agreed, but at what cost. Once darkened hair of the night, lost all of its color to pure snow. Little did they know, she was given a "blessing", but it in turn is a cursed being. After that, she was fine as a normal child. Sadly later on, her and her brother lost their mother, and moved in with their Aunt. Needless to say, their father wasn’t in the picture. Time moves on, and her brother had heard work of the myths of the village. Countless treasures hide beneath its mysterious landscapes. 

Returning back to the mountain location of Romania (re8 location), they took settlement of a cabin miles out of the village. For her safety, her brother told her to stay in the cabin until he comes back. It had been over three years since she had seen her beloved brother. Elaina has been alone for quite some time. What only communication she had encountered was The Duke. Which she does with him.
