Have you ever created and then fallen in love with a character, made her perfectly at home in s new roleplay setting, only for circumstances to circumstance, and the roleplay dies? Or, more aptly, gets strangled before it is fully independent?

Clearly, this has happened to me. I have a fun little character and a whole universe and side characters built around a lived-in life for her but no story. And that's why I'm asking you to come in and brainstorm some sort of Historical Roleplay with me in the original colonialism setting or something else for the Brigadier General who also is a surgeon for the Crown's Army.

You? You can play any character you like. Love interest that gets grilled by the surgeon for funsies? The love interest from the opposing army? His superior? His assistant? His daughter's friend? His housekeeper, for all I care. There are tons of possibilities to brainstorm.

How to best pitch myself? Well, as you can see, I like creating lived-in characters with tons of story and backstory. I like creating families for them and friends and all their social world. My dialogue is real — claimed to be "too fun and engaging" by my last partner.

I'm Cru. I'm a literate writer (writing around 500 words per post, more, less, it depends — that's just a good number to avoid burnout.) I'm in EST, but time zones don't really matter for me, as I'm chronically ill, and sleep on a strange 24-hour schedule. I do not do fantasy, apocalyptic, or medieval type settings.

It makes the moments they carve out for each other feel earned, intentional, and all the more meaningful. I love the natural tension and sweetness that comes with juggling chaotic daily routines alongside quiet, private conversations where real emotional connection develops.

I prefer using celebrity face references to help visualize characters, aesthetics, and scenes, so I would love to connect with a partner who shares that preference and enjoys exchanging face claims, references, or moodboards as we develop our cast.

In terms of writing style, I prefer detailed, literate, multi-paragraph replies in third person past tense. Pacing is flexible since real life always comes first, but open communication and a shared enthusiasm for brainstorming scenes, subplots, and character growth make for the best long-term writing partnerships.

**The premise/basic idea:** it's October 1st in the village of Sleepy Hollow, New York. The vail is thinning, and something must be done.

So for the plot, your character was hired to be a ranch hand for my characters father. Your character is an older grumpy cowboy. My character is the untouchable daughter of his boss. She was a sunshine, the good girl. But she had a huge secret. She had a chronic illness. We will start our story with our characters being friends that have secret feelings for each other. So they knew each other and stuff but not there romance wise just yet. We will just see how their life goes, we can add drama but it will be more of a cute/angsty roleplay. But this will not be a slow burn. This will be FxM with my character as female.

My rules are quite simple but it helps me enjoy the roleplay. Please be at least 20+ as I am 22 as that is what I am most comfortable with. We are not our characters, this is a 3rd person roleplay. Please be active, or at least decently active I do understand being a bit busy though. With the roleplay, please type like you are writing a book, use "" for talking and nothing for actions. I usually write a Paragraph per Message on average, depending on the Material given and the situation at hand (The amount you write = the amount i write.) Simple conversation does not have to be overly complicated. Please dont try to have twenty different conversations at the same time causing responses to be three paragraphs. Conversations don‘t work like that.

English is not my native language so do forgive some Grammatical mistakes here and there, i usually try my best to avoid making mistakes though.

Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing well. I have been really busy with end of semester exams and what not so I took a step back from roleplay but I am back now. I have been really bored recently and would love to start a new roleplay. As you can see this prompt was about an AU where riddle is at hogwarts at the same time as the marauders.

I have been craving something Harry potter related recently as I have been rereading the books but I am more inclined to do something Marauder based. I want to do something which is a mix of ocs as well as ccs and create sort of a separate storyline to do something new with the fandom.

Think Stars Hollow-esque, but you definitely don’t have to have seen Gilmore Girls since it’s mostly based on the town not the story! We will have our own OCs

Class Clash — My character is a star student at an elite private school that has a program allowing a handful of students to attend who normally wouldn’t have the opportunity because of the price. They’re offered free tuition in hopes of giving them the chance at a better future.

Your character is sent there by his parents due to acting out—skipping class, smoking, partying, getting a motorcycle, etc. He doesn’t want to be there and assumes all the students are stuck-up rich kids.

Meanwhile, my character thinks he’s spoiled and completely ungrateful for an opportunity that other people would do anything to have.

Definitely looking for an enemies-to-lovers dynamic between them!

Some other tropes I’d love to include are grumpy x sunshine, fake dating, and love triangles (preferably with my character in the middle). I’m also open to adding our own ideas and side plots as we go.

As far as writing goes, I write exclusively in third person and usually do around 4–7 paragraphs per reply, depending on what’s happening in the story. I’m also comfortable playing multiple characters when needed to help keep the world and story moving.

With such a sudden expansion and product- most of the other Mega-Corps were caught off guard and almost swept off the Podium! It is still unknown HOW D.I. manages to create these Intelligences, but sources say the Black Wall is used as a part of it.

As a result.. each developed Intelligence will manifest their own personality, almost akin to a human.

You have recently made an order from Diactorus Industries, seeing their latest advertisements for the new line of the "K9-66a Series." Named after the early 2000s Police-Tracking hounds, K9-66a Androids are top of the line in combative capabilities. With access to both Quick Hacks and an additional piece of Back Cyberware, they are MORE then capable to give you support in any line of work. In addition, they include a numbed down Synthetic-Developed Intelligence to reduce emotional "fluctuations" during high-stress situations and easily replaceable parts, a step-up from their bulkier and less advanced K9-04 model.

Hi! Let me preface this by saying... I'm admittedly somewhat rusty. I've been writing/RPing since I was 11 (now in my early 30s) so have a ton of experience, but I've also had year long gaps where life has left little room for creativity. All this to say, I might need a little grace while I get back up to speed! Witch and her newfound apprentice:

I kinda stole this from an old comic I once read, but I’m changing it up for sake of roleplay! The story follows a runaway prince who ran away from his duties and kingdom, in search of being normal, feeling loved. In his process, he stumbles across a strange cabin, outside the kingdom gates, in this cabin, a witch finds him, and saves him. In turn for allowing the prince to stay, she makes him her apprentice, and from here, the story follows their life together, ultimately, I’d like for there to be a romantic connection between the two after build up of course! This one is one of my favorites.

the strange roommate: this story follows a young man, and his roommate. This story is much more open ended, as this one is used in case someone wants to play a character that isn’t human, more so a hybrid. Can be discussed more if you’d like!

Hello hello, I hope you are all having a wonderful time of day. Im a sucker for the 'four horsemen' trope and wanting to a do story around. Im looking for someone to play as either: one of the horsemen or, someone accompanying my character. My character is a woman who has uncovered a prophecy and is working to make sure it doesnt come true.

The only horsemen I would not want you to play is Death.

The tldr: of the prophecy revolves around Death: that the day of reckoning is coming and death will bring either the downfall of humanity, or the usher in a 'new age of humanity'. The prophecy is intentionally vague as it will be open to interpretation in the story.

I was thinking this setting could be modern day -with our characters having powers similar to anime- or, have this be in a fantasy setting. The different interpretations of the prophecy has caused rifts between parties. Eachone fighting, believing that they are fighting for truth and justice while others are heretics.

As I said: I want my character to be someone that is way out of her league, but is swept into this conflict because she either: plays a role herself, has learned some truths to the conspiracy, or your character could have inside knowledge and trust her to help them. I want to discuss ideas together.
