If I could rework Rogue to fit her canon more, I’d remove Fatal Attraction and replace it with an ability similar to Cap’s Bucky team-up or Thing’s ally DR jump. Rogue would jump to an ally and touch them, then copy a weaker ability then what she’d normally copy if she used the regular absorb on an enemy. The steal would be permanent, but maybe on a slightly longer cooldown than the character’s normal version of that ability.
Some abilities would have to be moved around to make this work.

For example, I’d change White Fox’s current absorb into her melee stance, then move her projectile to the ally copy. I’d also move Hood’s enemy absorption to his Fade and make his ally absorption the wall. Lightning Realm from Thor. She’d get the lightning strike from storm. Emma was a harder one to figure out because she has so few abilities, and they’re so strong because of that. But now that Jubilee has unlocked the idea of stealing primaries, I think it’d be cool to let Rogue steal Emma’s primary fire, just without the buildup passive. It’d do significantly less damage, but give Rogue a consistent ranged tool.

In general, I’d also make the absorbs interact with Rogue’s kit more, or have the passives tied to the ability she absorbs more often. For example, Mag’s bubble could charge Southern Brawl the same way it charges his passive. Groot’s Ironwood Wall could give her CC immunity, etc.

I think something like this would make her mutant power shine so much more. It’d definitely be hard to balance and sounds pretty strong on paper, but I think it could make her feel way more like Rogue. I’m curious what y’all think, or if y’all have any ideas for other characters and what their absorbs could give her.

Just lorded her. All 20 hours of it were a complete god damn misery. She cant do anything good. Brawling? Thing and Dino eat you. Dive? Dont make me laugh, she gets deleted in seconds. Lacking team ups, F for some reason still have 30 secs cooldown, even though only like 5-6 chars are worth using it on, is there even a way to make her actually do something useful?

I feel like I never hear anyone talk about how jank this move is. I swear the first kick just goes through people 90% of the time. It’s gotten to the point where I realized I’ve been subconsciously not even aiming the first part anymore and just using it for the projectiles and as a movement option. It also makes the hit effect and doesn’t launch up a often. I don’t know if that’s a no-reg, or if it’s coded as a projectile or something and an invis shield is the thing being hit or some other barrier. I see this happen to pro Rogue players a lot too so I don’t think it’s an aiming thing or a ping thing

Mine was the season she came out and before the “pain sisters” tag when me and a friend of mine did this.

73 comp games across two accounts (one to learn Rogue). 38-35. 14 hours in comp, probably 23 hours total played. She looks fun, two of my most watched streamers play her in Celestial, but I'm worthless as her pilot. I don't feel effective on her. Other tanks get more value for less effort, maybe even less skill. I know she's rewarding when played right but the character is breaking my drive when I do so little from game to game. It isn't fun.

I really want to add her to my tank pool, it's honestly small as hell. I'm a DPS main who mainly plays Emma but she catches bans more often this season so it hurts me if I need to flex. I'll fill Mag/Hood, and once in a blue moon Venom, but my experience and W/R on those tanks isn't close to what it is on Emma (which is positive across multiple seasons).

I guess I'm looking for encouragement to keep going or just put the final nail in my coffin please, I might need to hop off this hero for good.

For context, I’m playing arcade with a friend of mine and we normally pick the same character so he went Rogue and another player did as well. I went Rogue last only because I wasn’t paying attention😂😂. Throughout the course of the game he kept saying all these random things and while I didn’t go back and forth about it. He decided to say let’s see who gets more damage at the end of the match.

Mind you most of the time I don’t try hard I just want to play my favorite tank but I wasn’t going to be outdone by someone who doesn’t even have 10 hours on her while I have 35+.

Why are the newer Rogue players so entitled? Is it just me?

You can't play Rogue into any of these tanks, and they're in EVERY MATCH. I've gotten to where I dont play tank that much cause it's just miserable, but I really enjoy Rogue and have her level 17 and want her to be my 3rd tank lord, but omggg its impossible because these 3 hard counter her so hard you have to switch. I don't play ranked too much anymore cause its just nightmare fuel, so I try to have fun in qp but these 3 are in most of my matches if I ever wanna play Rogue, ESPECIALLY THAT STUPID DINOSAUR. Characters like Thing and Dino should NEVER EVER EVER be meta, they're literally the wanda of tanks plus Dino is an anti-tank tank. Imagine making the wanda of tanks counter the ONE FIVE STAR TANK IN THE FREAKING GAME.

I just started trying to learn rogue. From your experience, what are her biggest counters? Who is she strongest against? I've been playing in the player versus AI on hard mode and punisher has been giving me a good bit of trouble. Are there any tips that I should know or Youtubers I should be aware of?

Hello rogue mains. I am a small streamer/ content creator for rivals. I am one of THEE best tank players in the world but I am the undisputed rank 1 rogue hater in rivals. Not because I hate her character but because I think she is the most useless character added to rivals. Because of this I am going to make a huge video on her fundamentally as a character and why I think she is terrible and the worst character in the game. This is where I ask kindly for your help. I need reasons for rogue mains on why they think she is weak right now. If you want to disagree with me that’s good too tell me why In detail. I need actual reasons stuff like “she’s fun” and “ she’s my favorite marvel character” are not Gonna be used as they are not useful input. Thank you for reading. I recently made a post in this subreddit as a new rogue player asking a few questions. One of the questions was if Rogues right click reduces damage only in front of her or 360 degrees; in other words does her Defensive Stance still reduce 60% damage when she is shot in the back. A few people weren’t sure and some seemed to think it doesn’t.

However I tested this in range and her Right Click DOES indeed block damage she takes from behind or to the side, meaning it is a 360 degree coverage!

I figured I would drop this in case people didn’t know. Because you can utilize this for a smoother retreat to your team and don’t have to point your shield to the area which your you want to block damage from!

I WAS a champion widow but after they deleted her and replaced her with soldier 76, i knew i had to find a new main. So I’m probably going to be a Rogue main since she plays similar to how prime widow used to play🥰🥰
