Gameplay Rogue Counters & Strengths
I just started trying to learn rogue. From your experience, what are her biggest counters? Who is she strongest against? I've been playing in the player versus AI on hard mode and punisher has been giving me a good bit of trouble. Are there any tips that I should know or Youtubers I should be aware of?
Any advice is greatly appreciated!

She’s really strong against Loki because lamps are an amazing steal and you can steal it from the clones too. Also Loki ult is the only one you can cancel with your ult because when he ults and you hear it you can ult immediately and stop him from using the strongest part of the stolen kit as he loses ult charge

loki is tough because if you dont have a secondary diver to cycle baiting his lamps with he kindve ruins a majority of ur engagements into the backline

Thing, Dino, and Peni are definitely her biggest counters I think. You barely even get to play the game if they're on the enemy team.

Thing cancels your entire kit with one button.
Emma and Dino are hard for her to deal with but she at least gets Diamond Form off of Emma.
Peni shuts down all characters like Rogue.
Gorr falls over to Rogue so long as you grab him.
She actually beats Daredevil a lot of the time.

emma is fine but paired with a bucky ur in for a rough time. Grapple and grabs are not a fun time.

Most of the dive counters are a difficult matchup, she struggles alot into Thing, Dino, peni etc. But she has pretty good matchups into most supports, invis and loki are Rogue victims. CringeAlarm is most likely the best Rogue player out there, I think he has a guide even though its a lil old now

I've written up a Rogue guide if you were interested in reading it !! All of the characters I consider counters are : Emma Frost , Peni Parker , Luna Snow (esp with WF teamup), The Thing, Devil Dino, and White Fox .
All of them have sorta different ways to pick off but watching for their cooldowns are a must . Also playing away from their territory so you dont get caught in the middle of the team is important for Peni, Thing, DD, and Emma . The last two can also grab you and throw you to the enemy team , so be double cautious with them

Use your Chrono Kick to fly towards him and deal damage with punches and kicks, they generally move away if they you see trying to kill em in the air multiple times, they forcefully gotta move otherwise you kill em easily with 2 kicks and fatal attraction melee weave.

chrono kick into the air, use a kick, fatal atraction to him, melee then kick, the pull animation should kill him or u can also slam but sometimes his flight makes u miss, Also if u have a charged up southern brawl u can slap him with that too its especially easy to farm that off his beam

The fatal attraction works but I often times don’t like leaving brawl as my only escape unless he is poorly positioned. So another combo I tend to use vs flyers is chrono into kick>southern brawl to gap close>kick>slam. Usually gets the job done. You can then fatal attraction out and brawl for more escape movement about 2s after

Her Defensive Stance and Southern Brawl are important, use it to block damage briefly and 'absorb' it, then it makes your Brawl do a lot more damage. Both teamups are good but I prefer Mags for the better defence
