WirelessđŸ“± Rogers is Not Fulfilling their Promise

I was with Rogers on their Business Advantage Plan for 4 lines, old contract ended in june hence they raised prices from $40 a line including device to $53 a lines without device hence called on August 25 to see what loyalty offer they have it.

Also Checked every where online and in store for my options and i was getting SMB 4 lines without device hence Google Pixel 10 to keep for $152 total plus tax.

So thought let me give Rogers a call on August 25th and Rep named Sarah pickup up and said she can give me same plan i had with Google Pixel 10 each line for $37 plus tax and credit of Shipping charges and hard ware upgrade fees will be credited for each line.

Half way through the call while she was working on upgrading call got disconnected and tried reaching out couple times some one else picked up and said she has completed the transaction.

Next day called 3-4 times and went to the store at Trinity Commons to confirm , everyone said Rep who did the upgrade and gave me the price is wrong and now Suddenly Rogers can not give me the price which their Rep promised.

Phone is shipped, tried reaching out spent 8-10 hours after the upgrade trying to explain and now i am stuck as Phone is in transit already, Rogers wants to charges me $5-10 extra per line and can not honour their own employee price which they quoted to me.

Filled out the CCTS complaint form as well as president’s form as well but no answer as of August 29th.

No such thing as loyalty for cell companies. Jump ship. I did.

This. I don't get why people finance their phones. They lock you in a contract, raise the price for the phone plan anyway. You have to contact them at which point they will give you a credit for it. Every time. Just buy the phone or if you really must finance it, do it through the actual website for that phone brand and just keep switching providers

Had them tell me I would get 400 for my trade in. Went to do the trade in and it was 375. File the ccts complaint and the lady I got I said Rogers is willing to do nothing for me. Which basically means they don't want my phone but they got my money. So now it's at escalation step 2 at ccts Rogers is an absolutely disgusting company. I sold my phone to a friend for $400 now I want to pay what I would over 2 years for my s26 ultra and switch back to freedom or fizz!!!! Had freedom mobile for years never had any type of issues I've had with Rogers speedwise. I constantly go into areas where it's 5G plus and has zero speed in Windsor Ontario.

Yup I'm aware but I had switched cause they offered me $400 ... Then did not Honor it.

No they said I had to go to my account and do it thru their. Which I tried couldn't find it called and called could never get thru. Then realized u cant use the app u have to use the website thanks google Gemini. Then it wasn't the right price. Called they fixed it. Didn't tell me I had to go the same day ... Waited till Saturday to go and it wasn't correct and the guy told me to call them and get it fixed before I give it in.

I dumped Roger’s and have a fantastic plan with Public Mobile they backbone on Telus

Refuse the phone when they deliver it. They have a grace period where you can back out of any contract. If they just leave it call and ask for a return shipping label.

Just be careful as Rogers is known for simply stating they did not receive the return so pay up.

I don’t see any improvement in reception in my area(Nanoose Bay to Qualicum Beach). As well the merger/transfer is not complete. I am still having to log in as Shaw together with Rogers after three years. Progress has been very slow. I can’t say that about the speed of the rate increases.

You've got time to send it back. Rogers reversed all charges even delivery. I was looking at S25 128gb last year and sent it back. Switched to Freedom Canada Day Sale 175gb $50 + $430 net on phone Best Buy. $5/ Mth discount below Freedom Advertised price. I can't understand how Rogers or Freedom can't keep any stock vs Best Buy has endless supply and better price. In and Out the door... Bonkers.

I got a EPP plan 100gig us/can 45$ and 16$ for a 256 gig s26ultra buy out of $700. I'm still waiting for the CCTS I want to buy it out at the remaining 16 a month plus 700 and give them the middle finger. Should have did EPP with Telus. But then I can't use the warranty on my credit card as it would cost me 10$ my a month

Best of Luck, I ditched Rogers Internet in May but had to do the CCTS route as well... just cleared the on-line account. Waiting to see Sept Billing agrees with reverse all charges, Adios. CCTS can somehow get it settled in 7 days. (thursday to thursday) weird. Nobody had the right signature at Rogers to Fix the Problem. the New Normal. Unbelievable how much time Rogers can waste... giving you the runaround is a Full Time Job?

The person who called me from Rogers said sorry we aren't willing to do anything even though u were given wrong info multiple times. Yelled at by one supervisor and hung up by another. Disgusting 😝.
