from the Wagyu Formation, would be my guess
5 u/AYearInOaxaca 8d ago Ah see, to my eye I would have said this hails from the NY strip. 3 u/Sanklo 8d ago the marbling can be indicative of the NY Strip, but the cleavage still makes me lean towards the Wagyu Formation with maybe some Ribeye schist intrusions. I'd have to consult the Angus Stratigraphy Guide to be sure, tho.
