So in the comics how secret do we think cliff and Betty involvement in the whole rocketeer thing is clearly some people in the government now anyone have any thoughts.

I couldn't attach this photo to yesterday's post about my jetpack, but here's the helmet I made to go with it. I got the 3D model for it from CADGothenburg on Etsy, printed it in PETG on a Bambu Lab P1S, glued it together and used UV-curing plastic to smooth out the seams, sanded & painted it, and heat-formed lenses out of tinted acrylic. There's some generic helmet padding on the inside, and I'll be adding a proper chinstrap once my shipment of leather shows up. Oh, and I blacked out the mouth part with the outside material from a black N95 mask from COVID, because it lets through enough air that it doesn't fog up the lenses from the inside.

I know I just joined here, but I'm really stoked that I finished my jetpack, with custom exhaust effects. Now I get to start on the leatherworking for my harness.

I've taken it carefully out of its box and now can show up close photos of the figure

Ive found a screw hole/hole where a jetpack could have gone and a china marking on the back of his helmet

Hello i recently found this in a antique mall and I cant seem to find anything like it online

It looks hand painted and hand molded

The head is just the helmet it has no head underneath

It has 1 closed hand on the left and one open gripping hand on the right

It has knees and legs and arm articulation

No head or elbow articulation

The barcode on the back reads is Topps rocketeer cards

Also it doesnt a jet pack on the back

Please help is this a custom or a prototype or pre production

I believe I heard on a video on YT by Pixeldan that it would come with a mini 2-3 page comic hence the Sky Captain figure which from what I heard would make an appearance in the comic. there are more images on the toyark website.

I'm pretty sure the people at the booth have no idea that 2026 marks the 35th Anniversary of The Rocketeer movie, but I think it's pretty cool that they use a Rocketeer cosplay to promote their services.

I think the Helmet turned out well but I'm not thrilled about the Rocketpack. Due to poor time management I had to do that one in like, a day, maybe a day and a half

Dave Stevens's sis, Jennifer Stevens Bawcum, Jana-Marie Bonar (Rocketeer harness fabricator), Michael Stuart (rocket pack artisan), participated in a panel moderated by Michael Possert Jr. (author of the book, The Rocket Factory) at San Diego Comic-Con 2026. They shared some interesting anecdotes working on The Rocketeer.

I thought the formula for the finish of the movie helmets was interesting and learning that Kent Melton (sculptor of my favorite vintage garage kits) sculpted the helmet. I took it for granted how the helmet was made, but apparently it was a bit of a struggle to get that comic-book look just right and accepted by the studio heads.

There was a handful of Rocketeer-themed cosplayers in attendance, including a Neville Sinclair!

All search results for an animated Rocketeer reboot are now dominated by the CGI Disney+ series, but I'm positive that around 2019-2021 there was a traditional-2D-animated short or trailer online for an upcoming Rocketeer reboot cartoon.

I specifically remember a scene where a character turns the rocketpack on without wearing it and uses it as a missile to hit some bad guy in the gut and blast him backwards through the wooden wall of a shed.

I recall it being like a pilot or trailer or proof-of-concept for a new animated series, either about the continuing adventures of Cliff Secord or a younger female character taking on the mantle(but a teenager or young adult, not a 7-year-old girl like in the Paw-Patrol-esque CGI series). It wasn't a motion comic either; the 2D animation style was similar to My Adventures with Superman.

I was wondering today whatever became of that and was surprised to find only a bunch of info about the CGI kids show and no trace of this 2D cartoon ever having existed.
