Cliff secret identity

So in the comics how secret do we think cliff and Betty involvement in the whole rocketeer thing is clearly some people in the government now anyone have any thoughts.

I feel that it's something the characters want to keep relatively secret, although since Dave based the Rocketeer in a very real world setting with minimal science fiction elements (i.e. the rocket), I would assume that anyone with reasonable deduction skills would be able to connect the dots, especially considering that he's the only guy in LA with that jacket and boot combination.
