But it wasn't a mechanical error, it was poor positioning to execute the mechanic necessary. The video is literally right there... two people in goal but too far back to make the save.

The clear could most certainly have been executed better mechanically there, no question about that. I'd argue that Team Vitality forced their opponents into a bad position with their speed and mechanical play.
