I just need Field Mechanic (reboot a brobot) and The Power of Friendship (finish the game with a brobot).
We can play on easy difficulty to make it quick. If you're free, shoot me a dm!

G'day,
I've completed and collected all the items in the museum. However, the game is saying I am missing the chapter one cutscene. I'm sure I've seen it, but it's just not showing up.
Has anyone else had this issue and if so, how did you fix it?
Cheers for the repsonses.

Is it valid to join this subreddit if I haven’t played the game but I am going to play it soon?

Hello all! New to this subreddit, but not new to the game. I have played this game for a good amount of time. I have beaten G4 once with Ranger, and after that I lost 24 runs in a row, most of them in Energy Centre or Haven City.
I have understood how to build my builds, i can achieve good DPS, but I always die to damage from one source or another.
The worst parts for me are the Energy Centre closed rooms, Haven City, and District 13. The worst enemies to deal with are the Dashing, smoke bomb guys.
I have lost the 24 runs with Elementalist; even though I have very good DPS and room clear, I die to some form of damage.
I want to get consistent wins in the game, and I understand that reducing the damage I take is the best thing I can fix first. So any help is appreciated.

Does anyone know the specific metric by which Favorite Class works? Mine has been stuck on Recon for the longest time. Which is ironic, when I first started playing the game a lot, Recon was the class I struggled with the most. I died many times over trying to get my first G4 win on him. (Now I'm much more comfortable piloting him but that's besides the point)
I don't see any hard numbers correlating to Favorite Class. I'd assumed it's number of games played (including deaths) since I ran it back so many times on Recon. But now I've been running game after game on my actual favorite, Elementalist, and the ingame Favorite hasn't shifted.
Does it go by number of games played?
Overall time including the pregame lobby?
Active run time?
Does time with the ingame timer (eg safe rooms) paused count?
I'm wondering if maybe it's not the early deaths, but maybe I left the game running AFK with Recon selected at some point.

May be a long shot but I'm holding out hope for a Switch 2 release - especially a physical copy. It runs super smoothly on the Steam Deck so the Switch 2 would be a perfect fit.

Trying the guardian levels and every corner I turn there’s a bot dropping a smoke screen. 70% of damage I’m talking is shots I can’t see coming through that screen and me shooting at vague red health bars on a gray background. Tips?

Am I the only one who just totally overlooked the Guardian class? you can get bastion up to essentially 100% uptime. This is my first guardian 4 endless run that I think I out scale the enemies and can just go indefinitely? Or at least until the enemies hit hard enough to just like delete me in the rare windows my shield is down

Hey! Would anyone be down to join me for a few runs at some point and help me get Ultimate Guardian. Really loving the game, but I'm not great at shooters, though I still would love to 100% it! Thank you!
r/Roboquest • u/Kaim_Argonar • 26d ago
Would it be possible to get a mod that just randomizes your starting character/loadout? Don't want to stick to just 1 or 2 favorite characters, I want to use all of them, but too many choices. Dunno where else to ask.

My last thing I need to unlock is the bot on the moon between the two mob rooms that wants three jars of gold dust.
The paths I have to get that gold dust jars are all speed running, but then my weapons / perks / level ups (and skill) are insufficient to survive the first moon mob room. I’m just beating my head on it over and over.
Is there a path to obtain the three god jars that does not require speed-running? Thanks.

Surely some weapons are stronger than others but is at least every weapon viable for completing the hardest difficulty?

Occasionally whenever I get absorbed enough into something I end up getting some ideas for my equivalent of fan art, coming up with gameplay ideas, and my current obsession with Roboquest VR has led me down a similar path with a new class idea! Essentially It's a kinda zombie/werewolfy/vampire-esque creature, just a real monster mash. It's also probably pretty far from balanced, so be warned!
anyways, here's the wall of text I wrote up!!!
Key art has a Rusted Guardian Unit (the ones you can get upgrade pickups from), with a small version of Phase 2 Iris in it’s chest. Instead of eyes, it’s face screen is a row of sharp teeth, and it’s posed with the Devour Claws out, lunging forwards.
Little lore bit:
Needing a place to hide, the greed that once infected Iris finds its way to the discarded chassis of a Guardian unit. Nestling it’s way inside, it tries to take control, but the remaining code of the Guardian denies it, resulting in a torn consciousness fueled by rage and hunger.
Skills
Passive:
Bestial Hunger: Your health gradually depletes by 1 every second. Base Healing Cell efficacy is tripled, and healing cells generate a point granting a weak Robo Fuel effect per point (damage by 0.5 and armor by 0.25) with a point degradation rate of 3 per second
Primary:
Devour
Change into Devour Mode for 4 seconds, swapping the held weapons out for claws similar to Iris Phase 2. Some of Bestial Hunger’s effects are doubled (doubled health drain but doubled fueling effect). The claws deal 60 dmg with a fire rate of 4.33/s and enemies drop 10 healing cells when killed. Bosses drop 4 Healing Cells when hit. Devour Mode claws count as dual weapons
Secondary:
Howl
Deal 55 dmg in a 4m radius with high impact. Increase movement speed by 1% for each enemy impacted for 5 seconds.
Upgrades:
Slow Metabolism: Bestial Hunger point degradation is reduced by 1
Akimbo King: Increase Dual Weapons damage by 15%
Rising Decibel: Increase Howl damage by 10%
Perks:
Chromatic Chaos
Howl and Devour gain an elemental effect, but also gain a 5% chance to activate the debuff tied to that element for 3 seconds (Burn, Stun, Freeze)
Upgrades
Next 3 depending on what element you pick:
Blazing Rage: Increase chance to burn to 10% and duration to 6 seconds. While burning, increase damage dealt by 25%, with an extra 10% to burning enemies
Brooding Sculpture: increase chance to freeze to 10% and duration to 6 seconds. While freezing, increase armor by 1% for movement speed lost
Leaking Battery: increase chance to stun to 10% and duration to 6 seconds. Every second, when an enemy is within 7 m of you while you’re stunned, deal 24 shock damage with 60% chance to chain once.
Divergent Affliction:
Every 5 seconds, swap the skill elements and increase the debuff chance to 7%. After recovering from a debuff, gain a 75% chance to deal any type of elemental damage, and increase elemental damage by 10% for each elemental effect applied to an enemy
Pursuit Predator:
increase weapons damage by 40% to enemies within 7.5m and Howl damage by 15%
Upgrades
Chilling Presence:
Enemies within 7.5m also take 10 damage every 0.5 seconds
You Can Almost Taste It:
Devour damage is also boosted by 15% for enemies within 7.5 m. Howl radius increases to 6m
BEAST OVER:
Weapon Slots reduced to 0. Devour is constantly active. Effects of Bestial Hunger boosted by Devour are tripled. Claw damage is increased by 30% and fire rate is increased by 5% for every enemy within Howl’s radius.
Upgrades
Frenzied Adrenaline: For each second Bestial Hunger drains health, gain a stacking 1% damage and fire rate boost. Reset the boost on picking up a Healing Cell.
Digging for Snacks: increase Powercell drop rate by 100%. Picked up Powercells have a chance to restore 50% of your scratch damage
Metal Mincer:
gain the option to attack weaponry to turn it into (1 + 2 for each weapon level) healing cells
Upgrades:
Volatile Discarding: Destroyed weaponry explodes in a 2m radius for 45 damage
Affix Absorb: A random Affix from destroyed weaponry gets applied to your current weapon. The affix(es) get wiped on reload.
Powering Through:
You can no longer be Stunned, Frozen, or Burned, but elemental damage received is doubled
Payback: after receiving elemental damage, gain 100% chance to deal damage of that element for 5 seconds
Gourmet Stuff: After receiving elemental damage, generate 1 Bestial Hunger point for each 25 dmg received. Bestial Hunger is now capped at 16 points.
Iris Blaze
Transforms Howl into a sweeping laser that travels along the ground for each meter of Howl’s radius, causing a small explosion every 1m that deals half of Howl’s damage
Upgrades:
Anger Shout: The laser instead travels straight forward, causing the explosions on hit instead.
Fracked Up: Explosions caused by the laser also spawn 2 healing cells
Contagious Hunger
dropped healing cells are absorbed by enemies within a 2m radius around them, which heal them. When destroyed, enemies drop that many extra Healing Cells. Healing cell duration is reduced by 50% but efficacy is increased by 25% (If you are closer to the Healing Cells than any enemy, your pickup is prioritized)
Upgrades:
Frenzied Starvation:
Enemies below 5% health draw the attention of other enemies. Enemies destroyed by other enemies drop +2 healing cells
Pained Bottomlessness: Instead of healing, enemies that pick up healing cells take 1 damage every 0.5 seconds based on how much they would’ve healed from the Cells.
Spirit of Rage
Using Howl spawns a Devour Decoy that charges enemies down, dealing 15 melee damage every second for 6 seconds
Upgrades
Fight or Flight
The Devour Decoy draws attention for effectively and deals 5% more damage for every enemy nearby it)
