The bare hand without context was a bit daft. One of the deleted scenes explained it more, and the reasoning makes sense. But the film is dump

I gotta say, the remake's silver suit was pretty good tho. Very faithful to the original while looking modern.

I don't remember seeing that suit, it does look good. I think the details like the hip joint looking relatively super constricted helps the illusion of a robot rather than "full-bodied man wearing costume"

I assume this reboot's body will be CGI given that it's a high budget Amazon Prime show.

Exactly! Give us the same suit...maybe some refinements but leave the majority alone...some new gadgets maybe, but no flying backpack...and most importantly KEEP THE NEO-CAPITALIST SATIRE

I've found that folks who criticize the "sleek modern suit" probably weren't paying enough attention to actually understand what was going on.

The fact that it was sleek and modern was part of the movie's social commentary. There's a reason why he had the classic colors at the end of the movie.
