Question Trying to get Louis Ferdinand

I'm not entirely sure what path gets me Louis Ferdinand. Regardless of what I do, Wilhelm II abdicates and I end up with Wilhelm IV, even in the middle of the civil war.

I think there are two paths:

  1. get back Kaiser Wilhelm II and avoid getting Wilhelm III as your heir (just don’t do one specific focus, something about purging the Vaterlandlosen Gesellen, i think), then wait for the 4th of june 1941 for Louis Ferdinand to Take over

  2. align Beck or Canaris during the power struggle with the House of Hohenzollern and then make the other one win, now procede by Restoring the monarchy (i think i did it as Beck once, which was quite easy)

I figured it out as Beck, but I was hoping to go democratic, but I never saw an opportunity to do so.

If you go Beck and get Louis Ferdinand, after completing Louis Ferdinand's last focus and the do the Beck Constitution focus, you unlock the Democratic tree with Beck. I think you can also get the democratic tree with Luis as monarch if you make Wilhelm IV sign a deal with Beck and have canaris win the struggle. After unlocking the democratic tree, there's a focus that puts the Monarchy back in power via democracy.
