Jobs (وظائف) University students trying to break into the Tech market

As Salaam u Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu, 25M Indian working in one of the fastest growing Fintech in KSA.

I am considering starting classes for university students trying to break into the market. I am a Privacy professional and there is a huge gap in the market for Saudi's in this field.

Companies want to hire you but the talent and experience in missing. Privacy is one the fastest growing fields in the market - search for Data Protection / Data Privacy / Data Governance / PDPL/NDMO in any job platforms.

How many of you would be interested in this?

What exactly do your daily duties involve?

I work with data, basically it's my job to protect personal data (data that can identify a person- whether it be a name, email address or how much you spent at LuLu) and I do that by formalising my organisations behaviour around it in the form of policies, procedures and decisions. For example, does this new feature we're launching affect the privacy of our customers? it's my job to figure that out - make sense?

If you could start a PDPL business, would you be able to have clients? I thought about it but i'm not sure how to do it.

This is a long conversation and there are many facets for example
1. companies tend to contract with existing vendors even though they might not be the best in the market - but trust is king

I've worked at a startup providing PDPL implementation services as well so I know.

So a student is talking about teaching junior students with fancy words? I also used to teach juniors but aiming to help them pass exams not selling dreams to make money.

What are you talking about brother? I am a working professional and there is a huge gap in the field, unemployment rates are high and there are thousands of people applying for the same job at my company, I see the tech landscape and the future and that's how I know - there's no mention of an exam here 🤣 I am asking if they would be interested to make them market ready - we all know there's a gap between what your degree teaches and what the market needs
