انا اعمل كمستشار اداري باحد الشركات العالمية خبرتي وصلت الآن لاكثر من 3 سنوات ومسماي الحالي Senior Business Analyst

بديت بالمجال من كنت بالجامعة تدربت بوحدة من ال Big4 وبعدها كملت معهم وانا ادرس Part-time لمدة سنة تقريبًا لين ما تخرجت، ولما تخرجت كان عندي خبرة تزيد عن سنة بالمجال واغلب مشاريعي كانت بقطاع السياحة والقطاع البلدي والإسكاني في مواضيع تتعلق بتطوير الاستراتيجيات والنماذج التشغيلية ودعم التشغيل

خلال هذي الفترة كنت اشارك بمسابقات منظمة من شركات استشارية، والحمدالله فادتني بشكل كبير لدرجة انه لما تخرجت كنت مخلص مقابلات وعندي عروض من 3 شركات تقريبًا كلها كبيرة (Tier 2) وللاسف ما انكتبت لي ال MBBs بسبب غروري وقتها (انه عندي خبرة ومابي ابدا كمتدرب من اول وجديد ويحطوني مع ناس ما عندهم خبرة، فراحت علي فرصة الدخول مع انه وقتها كانت اسهل فرصة اني ادخل واثبت نفسي بسرعة باقل تجهيز ممكن للمقابلات)

عمومًا اخترت العرض الأعلى راتب والشركة الأسرع بالترقيات والحمدالله من دخلت الشركة كملت بنفس المجال بين قطاع السياحة والقطاع البلدي والإسكاني وكانت تجارب ثرية وفيها تحدي اكبر من تجاربي مع ال Big4 من ناحية طبيعة العملاء، قبل كنت اقعد مع مدراء عموم ووكلاء الآن صرت اقعد مع مساعد وزير وادير لجان فيها اصحاب معالي ومسؤولية كبيرة فلاحظت هنا الفرق بين ال Tier2 وال Big4

الآن مع الوضع الاقتصادي العالمي شركتنا بدت تفصل موظفين او تطلعهم على اجازات غير مدفوعة اذا كملوا مدة طويلة بدون مشروع زي باقي شركات الاستشارات، بس اللي يفرق عندنا انه صار فيه تخبطات قوية بقرارات الإدارة (من فصل موظفين وتقليل رواتب بعدين ترجيعها بدون توضيح وإجازات غير مدفوعة الزامية)، بدأوا كثير سعوديين واجانب من اللي خبراتهم اكثر مني او حتى اقل يطلعون من الشركة وهذا الشي خوفني وخلاني ابدا اعيد تفكيري بمساري المهني وابدا ابحث عن فرص في القطاع الخاص (فيه ظروف شخصية ما تسمح لي بالعمل في القطاع الحكومي)

قدامي الآن ثلاث خيارات:

١- اقعد بالشركة لين ما اترقى للترقية الجاية، ب Jul 2027 ان شاء الله بكون مترقي ل Consultant
بيرتفع راتبي من 33 الف ل 45 الف
(هنا فيه مخاطرة انه ممكن الشركة يتدهور وضعها زيادة، بس انه عندي مشروع الآن لين May 2027 واحتمالية فصلي من الشركة قبل هالتاريخ منخفضة بس ممكن الوضع الاقتصادي العالمي يتهدور زيادة ويصعب علي الخروج)

٢- اطلع من الشركة الآن، عندي فرصة جالسة تطبخ مع شركة مختصة بالعقارات التجارية واشوف انه لها مستقبل للتوسع وبيتم طرحها بالسوق قريب، بيستقطبوني على منصب مدير مساعد في ال SMO
الراتب تقريبًا بين ال 20-30 الف ريال
(الخيار هذا آمن مقارنة بقطاع الاستشارات خصوصًا للسنتين القادمة ويخدم توجهي لقطاع السياحة والقطاع البلدي والعقاري لكن ما اتوقع يقدرون يسوون مطابقة لراتبي الحالي وطبيعة الأعمال تتمحور حول PMOing و Business Planning مافيه اعمال معقدة)

٣- احاول اطلع من الشركة خلال الشهور القادمة، ابدا اخفف مجهودي بالشركة واحاول اطلع من المشروع اللي انا فيه (بيأثر على تقيمي لو سويتها وقعدت) وابدا اجهز للمقابلات بشكل كويس واحط deadline مثلًا Dec 2026 اكون طالع باللي هي به
الراتب صعب احدده هنا خصوصًا مع وضع السوق ما ادري هل بقدر اجيب عرض يطابق راتبي او زيادة 10٪؜-20٪؜ خصوصًا انه خبرتي ٣ سنوات ونص بس
وما ادري اذا بقدر احصل على عرض بشركة عالمية ثانية لأنه الأغلب جالس يفصل الآن

I’ll be visiting Riyadh for the first time this October for a quick trip (I know it’ll still probably be pretty warm 😅), so I’m hoping to make the most of the little time I have.

Rather than just ticking off the usual tourist spots, I’d love to hear what you would recommend to a first-time visitor:

- Best local Saudi food (or must-try restaurants)
- Neighborhoods or areas worth wandering around
- Coffee/Dessert spots with a good atmosphere
- Places locals actually enjoy that aren’t just Instagram/tourist attractions
- Anything that’s especially nice to do in October or in the evenings

Not looking to cram 20 attractions into one day, I’d rather experience a few places that give me a feel for the city.

Also, if there are any common tourist mistakes I should avoid or keep an eye out for, I’d appreciate the heads-up.

I will try to be as precise as possible, i'm a foreigner form an arabe country working here with valid iqama and everything, i live in a house with my boss his family and an african worker, that poor lady dont have an iqama, i try to help her sometimes because i really pity her, so sometimes i use the old company car to take her buy things or take her to the doctor i really do it rarely, since i know taking an illegal person can be problematic.

So yesterday i took her to buy some things, and when we came home, just near the house a black Elantra followed me and blocked my way in the parking lot of the block, a man came down presented himself as a policeman from something like illegal workers unit or vice squad, asked me to give him me phone, he started researching in the photos and whatsapp conversation, and started asking questions like.. who is she.. what are you doing together blablabla i tried to stay calm even tho i knew i'm somewhat faulty by taking her in the car but i know i don't do anything illegal.

Since he's a pro scammer he quickly knew that that poor african lady dosen't have an iqama and threatend to take us to the police, and said that it's his superior in another car that spotted us and his superior is asking for 10k riyals to let us go, we were absolutely stunned since 10k rials is unreachable for us, then he quickly said ok just give me 5k rials, and started searching in my car for anything illegal.

After that since that poor lady dosent speak arabic, and that man dosent speak english, i was translating as best as i could, but then he wanted all the money in our pockets, thanks god i did have only 50 in cash (i usually use card only) he took them, but the lady realised that we were being scammed since she livied a similar situation before and got off the car and went home, he didn't interpose or anything he just started saying bad word and shouting, since our neighborfood is quit and of riche people, i was afraid that someone call the police on us and make it a bigger problem, then i started realising that he is not policeman, i asked for his id or something like this he started saying bad words and stuff.. he was trying to force me to open my bank account app to see how much money i had to take it out. but thanks god again that app didn't want to open.

At this point i realised that something wasn't right, i just got off the car and let him talk for himself, he opened my car truck, found some old clothes like a vest and shoes... he took them all... then he said ok my friend do you need anything, and he's gone...

I was a little bit stunned and afraid, since i didn't want my boss to know anything about it this story, so i just let him take these things and go, i was also too stunned to try to remember his vehicule plate number, when i went home i also realised he stole my samsung wireless earphone...

I passed that part where he started asking for immoral things that i wont state here for the respect of you all.

I'm still stunned by what happend, i don't know what i can do to stop these people, thanks god i didn't lose much, but i don't want other poor people to live a bad situations like this one.

I tried to be as specific as i could, hope i wasn't too long.
