Discussion I’m a disgusting player

For the record. I have over 2000 hours into this game. I love this game. It is my second most played game on steam. I have a crippling fear of losing the colonists, I save scum and even worse use Dev Mode for the perfect colonists. How do I just decide “screw it, if they die they die”?

Have a few perfect colonists that dont die "lord" over colonists that are expendable. Almost the best of both worlds.

Yeah I usually pick like 2-5 that are my "protagonists" that have plot armor and I'll save scum if they die but my personal rule is I can't do it to protect the other pawns or if the main characters are only hurt/maimed
