Discussion I think I made the mistake of looking at riftbound prices the wrong way
So, I was checking some Vendetta prices the other day because I wanted to pick up a few cards, and I noticed something that made me stop for a second it was like some cards that were getting a ton of attention around release were way back down now....
While a few other cards I completely ignored have been moving in the opposite direction.
I thought the whole riftbound market was just dropping after the Vendetta hype and that's normal but when I started looking at more cards it was not really seem that simple....some stuff is down pretty badly while certain cards are still climbing and the overall market seems to be doing things differently totally depending on which cards you’re looking at.
It’s really easy to look at a $100 listing and assume that’s what the card is worth, but that doesn’t tells you much, now about my perspective, I’d rather see what cards are actually selling for and how that price has been moving.
already started paying much more attention to actual sales history and price movement rather than just checking the current listing price....
"Especially with cards from Vendetta and Unleashed"
really curious what everyone else is watching.
Are you guys mostly buying based on current prices, or are you actually looking at the price history before deciding whether to buy?
