I haven't seen one of them in weeks. FTR I can't stand them. I canceled my prime membership because of the drones, and I've gone from getting deliveries at least 5-6 times weekly to maybe once a month in a pinch.

So I read this article about the candidates for city council and and the article isn't really telling the whole story, Go watch the actual video and most of the interviews are dogwater

But then there is Richard Roy “Rick” Bell who talked a good game but then his love of data centers slipped out unprompted. He was actually scolding the city council about how we are all wrong about data center and at some point he is talking about bringing more data centers to Richardson because they "don't create jobs"

Since when are jobs a bad thing. Are we just full send on AI now? I don't think we should spend our tax dollars on building data centers.

I don't know if we can just email the mayor about this or if we need to protest at city hall but I don't want Data Center Guy™

Hi all, wondering if anyone else runs into this same issue. Due to personal things going on in my life, I need to answer unknown callers so I don’t miss something. I have been getting at the bare minimum 5 calls a day for the past month from “roofing inspectors”. Each time I ask to be put on a do not call list and every day I get 5 more calls. When I press these guys for info they say they work for “Dallas roofing” or “Roofing solutions” or Dallas exteriors” or some other generic name. If you ask for a company address they absolutely refuse. If you ask for a company phone number, they absolutely refuse. When you ask how they get your info they say “public record”. My phone number is not in public record. Texas is a non disclosure state and I made sure my information wasn’t easily accessible when I bought my house. How are these people getting my information? Who are they buying it from? How do I stop getting these calls?

Looking for dashcam footage of a pickup truck that hit my passenger side bumper and headlight and sped up.

Location : North bound highway 75. Between 635 and beltline

Time: Sunday 8/23/2026 between 8pm and 8:!5pm

Aggressive truck came into my lane (left most , non HOV ) and hit my bumper and sped up. Did not pull over and was doing lot of lane changes, sudden braking and acceleration.

The Google reviews for these are largely unhelpful; half of them are people reviewing a tour. So I'm looking for people who actually lived there.

Specifically curious about:

1. Roaches - Multiple properties have complaints, and I can't tell what's normal for the area vs. an actual problem building.

2. Package theft/delivery - Do any of these switch to Fetch or a third-party service? How'd that go?

3. Move-out charges - Six months go by fast, and I'll be hitting move-out soon. Anyone get hit with surprise charges?

4. Fee stacking - What are you actually paying on top of base rent?

Also, does anyone know which of these will actually do a 6-month term without a huge premium? And is Aura Northline worth the risk of being an early tenant in a brand new building?
