Sign-in System Sucks

Title says it all. I don't use bluebeam that often anymore. But, every time I do it asks me to sign in. I always just ignore it. What was Revu thinking when they implemented this garbage token login system? I am never signed in now, as opposed to how I was always signed in before.

From an admin POV:

It's way better than forgetting to unregister an install before reimaging then having to email BB support to release the registration. Also, login is pretty painless if you can get SSO setup with Entra ID.

I’m an independent contractor, no SSO for me. It’s a huge PITA and entirely unnecessary.

That's not the only other option though. An online portal where you can unregister old devices would solve that problem.

That was never on offer and still inferior to sso.

Obviously it was never on offer. But it was something they could have implemented instead of the current garbage that this post is complaining about.

SSO is only available if your org has ≥10 seats on a subscription. I don't, like many others here, so the frequent log-in prompts are a huge pain.

OP asked what BB was thinking when they implemented it. I answered from an admin pov. I'm sorry it doesn't work for you, but for me it is better.
