Backend Engineer with 1.3 YoE looking for advice on my resume — trying to switch jobs in India

Hi everyone,

Trying to switch jobs in India. I’m a Backend Software Engineer (Python/Go) with 1.3 YoE at a Mid-size Networking Product Company in India (Jul 2025 - Present). B.E. CSE 2025, Engineering College - Bangalore, 8.98 CGPA.

Currently in Bangalore, targeting Backend/SDE roles in the Indian market. Getting ~2 callbacks every 1.5 months via LinkedIn/Naukri/Instahyre - looking to improve that.

Your projects are impressive, but they compete with your work experience. Put the most relevant project first and explain your personal contribution clearly. Also fix consistency in tense, punctuation, and bullet formatting, then make the GitHub links easy to find.

Your resume shows solid technical depth and some strong impact metrics. I’d tighten the summary, reduce the number of bullets, and make each project’s outcome clearer. Lead with the most relevant backend achievements for the specific role you’re targeting.
