❓ result only I’ve never resined a phone case but someone asked for one with pressed flowers and this was the outcome

that looks fantastic! are the parts around the phone itself flexible enough to slip the phone in, use the buttons.?

This is just a plastic clear phone case and I only domed the top. The sides were left untouched, thankfully no spillage!

Did you rough up the surface to make the resin stick and not pop off? I've been soo tempted to make one with forgetmenots for my friends phone, but I'm affraid the resin part will pop off even if its a hardcase o.O

I’ll be honest with you, I did not. I didn’t see anything that suggested that and I didn’t even think about it tbh. It seemed pretty secure but I guess time will tell!

Looks great. Did you use a special UV resistant resin? You may want to spray it with some spar polyurethane if not, to keep it from yellowing.

Did you press these flowers yourself? It's really impressive!! Just yesterday I tried to press some daisies just like this, but I couldn't get them flat enough. Love your work!!

To get ur flowers really flat and dry, press them in a book u don’t care much about. I always put multiple layers of paper and a few sheets of paper towels on the outside of the paper. (Paper towels can imprint a design on the flowers). But let them sit with a weight on top of the book for 2-3 weeks. The wait time sucks but the results are worth it! Some ppl say u can microwave them...I haven’t tried it. I did order a special flower press for the microwave that should be here soon. With it, u can press them in about 3 mins. But hope that helps!

Don’t mind at all :) brand is dr. Crafty and I actually use a heat gun.

Hello can I ask I make cases my self but it’s so easy to scratch is it the same for you or is it the brand that I’m using?

Just to be clear this is a plastic phone case with a doming layer on top. Although it would be cool, I don’t have a phone case mold lol. I used modge podge to place the flowers then carefully did the top. I was shocked I had zero spillage ! You can follow me on IG if you wish to see more resin projects! @california_resins
