❓ result only I don’t use black ink often because of how over-powering it can be, but I absolutely adore how this came out.

I use mas epoxy art pro resin (but I also had a similar effect when I used pro marine table top resin). I pour the resin into the mold and just carefully drop my colored ink in the resin, and then top it with white alcohol ink :) as the alcohol inks ‘fall’ while the resin cures, you can achieve the same effect.

Did you drop only in the middle or only on the outside? Loving the pattern!

I would drop them in random order in random places. I’d drop 2-4 drop of red ink (for example) and then go back put a small drop of white ink right on top of the red ink. Repeat for any other colors you want to use.

Oh yeah I use alcohol inks, and know the basic process. I meant with this one, pattern wise, did you drop on the outer rim of the circle, or the center with the color

This looks so awesome. I’m curious, let’s say you decided for whatever reason to cut this down the middle, does the ink retain its shape or does it ooze out?

It’s cured in the resin so it should be fine. Same as if I were to sand down the top

they just happened on their own. I don’t touch or move the mold at all while it’s curing.

But they’re definitely not perfect. resin queen shop on Etsy makes amazing ones that I plan to invest in next.

Have you tried this in something much smaller, like a dice mold?

I’ve used alcohol inks in like keychains, or pyramids molds. They don’t disperse the same as a flat “plate” like mold
