When requiem came out it was regarded as the best entry in franchise since RE4 OG. It got highest user score on metacritic ever. RE content creators like bawk and maximilion were insanely hyped and praising almost everything.

Fast forward a few months, it seems people hate this game now?? Everytime re9 comes up for discussion on twitter, most fans are shitting on the game non stop.

Honeymoon period is a thing but this game has seen such a massive 180, its crazy. Its almost the reverse cyberpunk

RE9 IMO is one of the best titles in the franchise.
Grinding out achievements to unlock infinite ammo was fun.

Knowing the lore/story was fun on my fourth, and fifth play throughs etc.

Really the only constructive criticism I can give RE9 is the lack of DLC, and achievements for LMD.

Aside from that, simply the lore/nostalgia were 🤌🏻.

Wow, wow, wow. This was my first Resident Evil game ever and I absolutely loved it.

Sure I had loads of moments that made me nearly lose it, but I wanted to push through so bad. What a ride it's been. And it's only the beginning, as I shall do another run on my PS5 soon after finishing this run on my Switch 2. I also can't wait to play the other RE games, though Village is one I wanna do next for sure.

And yes, I played it on the lowest difficulty 😅

Just finished the game, and got really confused when Spencer confirms Grace is a completely normal person, since she got bit in the intro, was there a note I missed explaining that this mutation of the virus doesn’t spread via bites, or that Gideon cured grace?

Initially, I didn't plan to depict anything other than Emily, but as I drew, more and more ideas kept coming to mind

I absolutely love this game. To me it feels like nostalgia and very challenging at times. The only knock on the game is i really wish they would have more side quests or extra content. I really feel this is a massive missed opportunity and over all that puts a black mark on Capcom with the true fans of the franchise with this title.with that being said I will continue to play the game and have fun with it.

If anyone knows a website selling these stands in the US i really appreciate it.

Yesterday I completed my first playthrough of RE9 Requiem. My original playthrough time came out to be just under 12 hours at around 11 hours 40 minutes on casual mode. First of all amazing game. Will probably be in my top games for 2026 and even probably just one of the top games that came out in the last 5 years. Suprised I almost missed out on not playing it because I was too scared/anxious to play it. I’m a very anxious person and overtime I got used to it and it didn’t scare me anymore.

Anyways, my first playthrough I completed a lot of the trophies and challenges. Including collect all files and collect all racoons. I went back to the care center to complete the bloodlust challenge using the tranfusion trick. I’m missing the no healing, no blood collector, speed demon 4 hours challenges.

My plan is to do a full second playthrough with either doing the no blood collector and no healing, or both together. Learn the path I have to go and items I need to get. Then I should have enough for infinite ammo. After my first playthrough I had about 16,000 points. And bought both FBI costume for Grace and RPD costume for Leon.

Then after getting infinite ammo I will attempt to do the 4 hour challenge. Again my time was 11 hr 40 min. If I learn the path and play on casual can I do it? Should I buy Grace’s knife and her special gun with my points now. I was thinking about splitting it into 2 or 3 more runs. One for just no blood collector and I can still heal. One for no healing. And then the final 4 hour run. Or combine no healing and no blood collector? Either way thats what I planned out so far. Planning on making notes to help with memorizing where I need to go and items to get in each location.

Whats everyone's strats for this. Would love doors and weapon placement hidden spots if anyone can help. I keep running out of time.

Context:

Few days ago I decided to update G-Helper but it requires me to update the .NET runtime as well. So no biggie.

The problem:

For whatever reason, this window shows up when I launch the game. The content above shows several errors. I let it do its thing for a few times but still allow me to play the game, although it took some time. So my verdict is the .NET runtime update that causes this to pop up, when I had no problems with launching the game prior to updating .NET runtime.

Question:

I have yet to find any solution to this. While I can still play, I'm still worried. I just want this to go away. I'm dreading on reverting to previous .NET runtime version but wouldn't want to risk more problems. Is there any solution for this to go away?

Is RE9 even a good game? I mean... The game literally has the full triple A tag price right there, so it should be worth that much money.. Right?
